This time we decided to go to Egypt. Our friend dropped us at the airport which is around 200 km from our place. We started the journey at around 4 am... it was fun to watch some videos thanks to his RNS-E system... At around 6 am we arrived at the airport... it was time for a quick breakfast and some pics: Ola with her Seatimer: Flight was delayed but then we were finally aboard: We were flying with Egyptian Airlines... started to be exotic.... Above the clouds.... Leaving Europe... Welcome to Africa! Looks like they DO have a lot of sand over there! This is what I am more interested in actually: We landed safely and arrived at our Hotel: A nice 5-star Resort that just started operating this year so everything was fresh and new there. Here is how it looked like from the upper lobby: Here is a view from our balcony: And this is where our holidays really started! Spent amazing time just relaxing, tanning, taking pics and exploring Hurghada City in the evenings. Here is Ola modelling my Cousteau: And here is me doing the same thing: No watch here... I just like this pic : Some IWC shots: And a close up... Some pics of the hotel... Our beach... And if you are not totally bored I would like to take you to the center of Hurghada - Sakala. Let's take a cab... When you are asking a taxi driver for the price he says 75 Egyptian Pounds... you bargain a bit and you have a ride for... 20 which is around $3.5 You'd like some water? Help yourself Here is what surprised me in one of jewelry shops: Look closer... Asian 21j everywhere And some more: Hey they even had a Breitling SLR Hoped to find something of our quality but with no luck... they said they have better quality hidden somewhere and pulled the same [censored] out... onlykept asking "Battery or automatic?"... "... you want Rolex, Breitling?" So that would be it my friends. Hope it wasn't too boring.... sorry for the amount of pics but wanted to give you a good overall vision of Egypt.... We had great fun there but were really tired of all this crap in their shops and the way they tried to do whatever it takes to sell us something.... Surely you went diving with the Cousteau? Abu Nuhas, maybe? Or the Thistlegorm?
