phaedo
Just to add oil to the fire, why should the forum be 'work safe' anyway? Not saying it is appropriate to have these sort of avitars (not that I am complaining) but shouldn't people be working while at work rather than browsing the web all day? Not to add fuel to the fire, but when you guys are at home in the company of your wife and kids, shouldn't men avoid porn sites altogether? *g* I mean, if we're getting philosophical and practical at the same time. There are many ways of looking at an issue which comprises a certain amount of adult content. Personally, I like Ajoesmith's and other avatars. I don't look at them, but I'm reminded I am in the company of men whenever I do. Plus, I once had a risqu
tech
Stephane replaced his new avatar. Bummer...don't know what the big deal is....sheesh, I have a wife and kid and when they see the nudies...they just laugh... There is a big difference between nudies and EXPLICIT porn As far as work goes...well, if you're EFFING OFF at work then that is your deal....hit the Options Tab...or get back to work. He not only takes you for granted, he absolutely does not even care about you. A fellow employee of mine died from working manual labor in his 60's. From 1985 to 2000 I sucessfully took my employers business from over 1,000 customers per day to less than 100 per day. Sure. When he sold the business, I lost my job. But at least I accomplished something in life. I aggravated a rich man. I know it was me, because he told me so. He actually blamed me. I acted innocent, but I am so very proud. But I can't seem to find a job.......... Go figure?

narikaa
Pornography???? Just what is that in relation to avatars exactly? Offensive to the workplace!!! Get a life! Sorry, if this affects you, you already have a life, a LIFE SENTENCE...why not tell us what heinous acts you committed to attract this soul destroying, crushing, sentence. If we go down this ridiculous PC route of worrying to the infinite degree as to what might be offensive (for that is the crux of what defines pornography) to whom...consider this, Muslims find any pictorial representation of the human form offensive, and more so a female out of the black Dalek suit. Do we pander to these views too? Don't get me wrong here, In my view this is a watch forum, sub human porn junkies can sate their desires all over the web without coming here, but once you start adhering to the slavish trends of 'political correctness' its a road to enforced insanity. "Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." ----------------------No trees were killed in the sending of this message. -----------------------

We both hate Political Correctness -- which as everyone knows, is a poor substitute for the age-old man trait of just being polite, g-ddammit! However, just because you have a job doesn't mean you should be hunted down and clubbed like a baby seal, which is actually playing at my local IMAX, as an aside. I'm sure that since we can alter our settings to "no avatars", it's all good. Let's stay on course, people! Back to the clubbing of baby seals. georgegrasser
Well I have not seen any offensive avatars here. They would be easy enough to notice if they were really bad. Our names would all be lined up at the bottom looking with no additional posts being made. I look at it this way. If a hot chick broke into my house, I would of course be afraid. Afraid for my life in fact. But as she began to take off her clothes, I would feel a bit better about the situation.

Victoria
ahahahahhahahahhaha... Wait, wait. This is a good one. I read this in one of those "News of the Weird" sections on Reuters. APRIL 19--Meet Philip Winikoff. The 76-year-old Florida man was arrested this morning and charged with sexual battery after he posed as a doctor and went door-to-door--black doctor's bag in hand--offering women free breast exams. According to a Broward County Sheriff's Office report, two women--ages 33 and 36--fell for the scam, which Winikoff allegedly ran in Lauderdale Lakes. Charged with several felonies, Winikoff was booked into the sheriff's lockup, where the below mug shot was snapped. Police are now investigating whether other women may have been tricked into impromptu examinations. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0419062doc1.html The head reels thinking of this. Only guys think of doing something this weird. Sorry fellas, you know it's true. Like putting mirrors on your shoes to look up women's skirts. WTF! Men and women are just wired differently. And WHO on earth would allow a total strange old dude to give them a "free breast exam", when he knocked on your door saying he's a doctor?? I remember reading a followup where a boyfriend of one of the victims' watched as this guy felt up his gf's boobs. I love it! And why am I posting this story at almost 4 AM?? Ah, well, night night. Stephane
QUOTE(Pugwash @ Sep 11 2007, 11:37 PM) Stephane replaced his new avatar. My temporary avatar was a wink to welcome the arrival of dating ads from AdultFriendsFinder. It was sent to me by a friend by the way, these kind of boobs, I see them everyday when some hot belgian girls register on my online dating service. I did not choose to remove it. It has been deleted by the Admin team before I had a chance to put back a normal one, watch related, this morning. If nudity, sex and porn doesn't hurt me at all, I agree that it should not be here...simply because that is not what we're looking for anyway. Cheers Stephane PS: EDITED: sorry if I offended someone with those marvellous boobs EDITED2: sorry if you did not see them. It's too late, they won't never come back here. I know I didn't and I can't find anything in the logs about somebody deleting your avatar, Stephane.... Edit: Seems I stand corrected. The avatar was deleted. chris5264
Here is the half joking problem as I see it. How do you know when you like a watch? I mean, what exactly happens when you really like one compared to when you don't??? It comes down to a nervous system response, elevated heart rate, a slight degree of perspiration and all kinds of things that are in response to being aroused. Since this nervous system response is pretty much the same if you are excited, or mad or happy, it comes down to the brain making an interpretation, if your brain explores the environment and decides you must be happy,,,you will be happy. However, sometimes things get mixed up and mistakes can be made. If you are looking at some arousing pictures and then get on a flight, you might think your heart is pounding because you

Starbug
I find this policy a little confusing, when the admin has no qualms about prostituting the members to adultfriendfinder.com banner ads. I hope your affiliate payments make up for how this makes you look when you remove similar avatars to that which is already being displayed in the advertising space. A confusing message in my opinion.
