chrgod
A very cool watch, and a great gesture from TT. Here is a picture of mine, with frozen 6 o'clock subdial.. It is a nice, heavy piece and has a geuine feel to it.

P4GTR
Bidding is a little too rich for my blood right now, but this is a good bunch here. It's time for me to give back. I'm navigating to the donation thread right now.
elwopo
As of now there is about 45 minutes left on the auction timer. Since it is late for me....and there is no auto bid fancy thing like on the bay..... I'll go ahead and make my final bid at 500. This should keep my last bid from getting bumped by 1 dollar at the last minute......and elevate any other bidders into the "only the serious need apply" category. So...until I check the results in the morning....best wishes to you all.

Victoria
WOW AWESOME PRICE -- big time congratulations!! TT...you've offered too much of your own. It's too generous of you..
Stephane
I completely agree with TT. EW rocks! I was thinking to bid a little more, but I must confess I never planned such a bid. 500 is not only a nice amount of money for RWG but proves, if needed, that EW was really looking at supporting only, not at buying a watch. Thanks to TT and EW for making this possible. Cheers Stephane
KB
It's because of guys like EW that there will always be an RWG, much kudos coming your way. Ken
LordRasta
Outstanding! Sorry I missed it last night, my sister-in-law was rushed to the hosptial for dehydration. I look forward to the next auction, that is one good looking PAM. Sorry Admin, you won't get that one if I win it!

elwopo
Cool! Looks like I got it. I had hoped the last minute bid would stand up @ Stephane... You're correct....and very wise....I didn't do it for the watch. I did it for the year membership

TwoTone
Elwopo's commitment on this auction was $230.00... He posted a maximum bid of $500.00 in case someone attempted to outbid him while he slept... No one did... So this morning he paid... We expected a payment of $230.00... However... Imagine our surprise... When he paid $500.00... Truly a wonderful gesture of support to the Forum... Thanks again Elwopo... Double T

Victoria
Truly a wonderful gesture of support to the Forum... Extraordinary gesture, which I think few of us could match. Which is not to say that any bid in future won't be as good, and well-meaning too -- but some things in life transcend, you know? I'd take the funds from the PP account pronto, just in case PP get "funny" again...
Stephane
@EW: You do have a nice year membership ahead for sure and you won't be forgotten for that gesture. A member placing a 500 bid as a max, then get the auction for 230 but still pays 500, well, what more can one say if not: You are a true gentleman, no doubt about that. I wish I was less shelfish and spend some more on RWG than on my mods and watches. But hey, EW, you put the target very high this time. Once again, thanks to EW and TT for that incredible great gesture. Cheers Stephane
