Cronsell's Official Wedding Wrist Shot Extravaganza!

Some of you may have noticed that since joining RWG and acquiring some nice watches, I've been a steady contributor to the wrist shot threads. Since I knew that my trip to Denmark for my wedding would make it difficult for me to make posts, I decided to take the shots each day, then make one big post when I got back. Well, here I am...a newly married man!!!

First, for the OCD part in me, here is my daily wrist shot for each day of my trip:

Thursday

The drive from Southern Germany to Denmark is a long one, I wore my default comfort watch...the 112!

Friday

This was a day of appointments and errands, my Explorer kept me sane!

Saturday...The Wedding!

Here is a teaser shot...MANY more to come of the watches with my morning suit!

Sunday

Okay...when I WAS wearing a watch, this was the one :p

Monday

I really love these Lange watches from Sydneysider, it looks great here with the burgundy strap and matching car!

Tuesday

Time to pack the car and drive home to Germany...

Now on to the wedding day itself! Please forgive my indulgence here, as not all of these photographs include watches...but I wanted to share with my watch friends what has been the best day of my life!

I have taken wrist shots almost every day for quite a few months now, and I pride myself on taking a decent photograph (now that I've learned the tips and tricks from Pugwash and TTK). That being said, not all of the following photographs are that great. Please bear in mind that I was pretty busy and not always thinking about watches or ISO settings etc!!!

Before the nerves really set in and too many obligations were upon me, I had a few moments while dressing for the ceremony to take the following series of photographs. After all these months of taking a daily wrist shot, this was a wonderful way to calm the nerves before the Big Moment!

First on the catwalk is a couple of candid shots of my Explorer II helping me get dressed!

The Bond strap goes nicely with hickory stripe...how wonderfully British, regardless of taste!

And now on to the serious fashion show! First up is the Rolex Submariner LV... I thought the green would look nice with the charcoal grey of the suit, and it does, but in the end it was too sporty for a wedding.

Next is my 112, dressed in Mario Paci PAV 91...not the best choice, but it's what I had with me! I only got one decent photo of her:

Now on to the first of my Lange dress watches, recently procured from Sydneysider in a wonderful deal the week before! I present the Arabic Dial:

And now to the second Lange, the Baton Dial:

And now, ladies and gentlemen, the star of the show...Homer's breathtaking tourbillon in rose gold!

Beautiful, isn't she? Take a look at this though, how can you resist such a perfect dress watch?

After taking these photos, there was this other thing that happened that day...my wedding! I cannot describe to you how beautiful the day was, how radiant my bride looked in her dress, or how happy and proud I felt at being her groom.

Cutting our wedding cake...the tourbillon in action! We decided to have the cake directly after the ceremony, along with champagne and coffee.

After our champagne toast and cake, we all went downstairs to the dining room...what an amazing selection of wonderful food!

The evening was a glorious mixture of wonderful food, joyous Danish traditions, wine and dancing! This was a monumental day in my life, overflowing with happiness and goodwill. I would like to leave you with two more photographs, the ones that mean the most to me in this post!

Hearty congratulations and many happy returns to you and your bride.

Of course now we will expect similar wrist shots taken during your honeymoon... assuming you have the time to see some sites or relax by a pool or beach during your honeymoon.

Congratulations pal!! :D

love the Tourbillion wrist shots!!!

thanks for letting me use them ;)

Homer, let me know if you want larger copies of any of them...I have them archived and could send via email!

Thank you everyone for your kind words, I'm so glad to be a part of this forum and more importantly this COMMUNITY of wonderful people!

Rest assured that although I may not post much between now and the middle of May, once I'm (I should say WE'RE) settled in Virginia I will be back with a vengeance! Hopefully with a couple more watches...noob YM, Explorer I, vintage Daytona...the list never ends! :p
