chrgod Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Where is the date..? Smooth looking, but very ordinary..
offshore Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Somebody wiser than I once said that quartz were "watches with no soul" and I tend to agree. S'pose with all the tricky stuff Seiko are doing, you could have a mechanical with "ancillaries" All this stuff still reminds me of the Dick Tracy comics from my youth.... two way radios, TV's.... won't be long before "the kids" judge a watch on the size of its processor, and download speed A bit like mobile phones..... I've still got my old reliable Nokia....15 yo, and I can still talk on it! Nah , not for me.... it would never become a vintage!! Offshore
jraines87 Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 I think the Gadgetry aspect of the watch is pretty cool. Suppose it would be neat to be able to carry around your music on your watch.... Have to agree with chrgod.... Needs a date..
KB Posted June 30, 2006 Author Report Posted June 30, 2006 The Gadgetry is cool.......................bingo thanks Jeff that's the angle I'm looking for. You see I would never insult my fellow watch freaks on these boards by offering this watch here, what I am looking for though is wether you good folk believe this watch has enough gimick value to sell well on say.......eBay. Ken

cornerstone Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Ebay mp3 watches Looks like a nice little niche, if you can get the right supply. It will show up for when people are looking for 'mp3' and are hit by the deluge of flash players.

jraines87 Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Holy Toledo Batman...........................Tell me do you carry the battery in a back pack? Ken It's solar powered
Willith Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 It's solar powered I have something similar to this and I love that watch, I wear it when I fly in case my plane goes down, it would be a nice survival tool, it just needs a GPS. Here's the one I have: Casio Pathfinder As for the MP3 watch, I don't know how much I would use it, I don't use my current MP3 player all that much as it is.
