Somebody wiser than I once said that quartz were "watches with no soul" and I tend to agree.

S'pose with all the tricky stuff Seiko are doing, you could have a mechanical with "ancillaries"

All this stuff still reminds me of the Dick Tracy comics from my youth.... two way radios, TV's.... won't be long before "the kids" judge a watch on the size of its processor, and download speed :p

A bit like mobile phones..... I've still got my old reliable Nokia....15 yo, and I can still talk on it!

Nah , not for me.... it would never become a vintage!!

The Gadgetry is cool.......................bingo thanks Jeff that's the angle I'm looking for.

You see I would never insult my fellow watch freaks on these boards by offering this watch here, what I am looking for though is wether you good folk believe this watch has enough gimick value to sell well on say.......eBay.

It will all depend on the asking prize

I have a few links with Chinese importers so the price will be cheap however I have not enquired about this one yet.

It's solar powered :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I have something similar to this and I love that watch, I wear it when I fly in case my plane goes down, it would be a nice survival tool, it just needs a GPS. ;) Here's the one I have:

Casio Pathfinder

As for the MP3 watch, I don't know how much I would use it, I don't use my current MP3 player all that much as it is. :(
