  8. Here's a gen to compare with I always notice the serifs on 'Oyster Perpetual' on the rep dial, automatico pointed out the wrong 'O' in Rolex. But the pearl looks ok and case and bracelet look fine to me- maybe trim the cgs- but that's typical on almost all subs. If you want a 14060 no date, I'd go for it, Maybe some day you can get a better dial. At some point you have to give up being picky and just enjoy the watch! Don't forget, it's only a rep.

  12. Finally after some months of sourcing all the parts for my grail build, my grail build is ready. It started when I was able to buy the last 5514 from highoeyazmuhudee, and from there the search started. The gen movement was found on fleebay, and the amazing dial and hands where bought from fellow member Fitch. The specs are: HH5514 case set Gen Rolex T19 service crystal Gen Rolex 1530 movement Gen Rolex feet first 5513 dial with tritium hands Gen Rolex 702 crown Athaya 7020 tube (a gen 7020 tube wouldn’t fit the case, athaya’s tube fitted perfectly!) Gen Rolex springbars Gen Rolex MK3 5513 insert Here are some photo's: Next to my Franken 16610

  15. I have a oyster problem.. I am addicted to them. So far in my watchbox I have a Seiko SARB033, franken Tudor Day-Date, franken Tudor 74000, franken Rolex 5500, 1680 & this 1601 that I converted into a 1016. Thanks to lhooq for inspiring me with his many threads for 1016's (especially the SPACE DWELLER build ). This one here is powered by a recently serviced swiss ETA2824. Special thanks to JMB for the JMB bezel. Couldn't have completed this project without this piece. and a wristie:
