  1. You need to remove the balance bridge, and reattach the hair spring (Not very easy if you are just starting to work on watches). Order of operation: 1.)Remove balance bridge 2.)Reattach regulating arm 3.)Attach hair spring 4.)Reinstall balance complete.

  3. Here is a thin movement...Piaget Caliber 1208P...2.35mm thick...1/4mm thicker then the Piguet, but unlike the Piguet, it is a automatic.

  7. First saw these last fall at a AD in Warsaw, Poland. Very cool pieces. They have electronic modules that snap on top of them for divers and climbers. The modules display a range of stats like altitude/depth, dive times, barometric pressure, etc. The DLC Ti is is very cool!

  10. @Seraphim38 - Yeah, I wish Honda would come out with the next RC so my 51 would have a mate. There have been rumors of years of a 1200cc V4, possibly being called the RC62, but nothing as come to light yet. Have a friend that has the RC collection...30,45 and 51! @Vintage - That is nuts for a Focus RS! Hoping when I head to Germany in September I can take a RS500 out! I have been looking at the Heico suspension for the C30. Biggest issue is the roads here suck and are littered with potholes, to having a tighter suspension is just going to down right suck! I swear up a storm when driving the Vette. I have a Quaife diff. sitting in the box (thanks to my boys in Europe) and have already talked to RICA about thier Turbo upgrade and flashes. Already got a 40hp flash in it (again thanks to my boys from Europe who worked on the RS)...
  11. We have the RS here in the States as well...you just need to work for the Blue Oval to drive them. Have had it out a few times. Phenominal car! Unfortunatly, it will cost way to much to bring it State Side...kind of hard to sell a $40K Focus to someone. I am looking forward to working on the Volvo more, it already has some of the RS components. No word on how those found their way into my car.
  12. Hey S, No it does not. That exhaust system came about on the C6 Corvettes. The C5 Z06's just got the Titanium Exhaust. Do what I did on my base C5...Borla Catback Stingers, cut off the cats, X-pipe it...Sounded so SWEET! Very exotic exhaust note, sounded like V8 muscle with some Ferrari. It was not overly loud until you really stood on it. You just need to track down a set of O2 module simulators due to the post Cat. O2 sensors, so you don't get Check Engine lights and fuel mixture issues. Or just get a Shelby! That exhaust note make ANY Corvette owner jealous.
  13. @BT - Thanks! The fastback Stangs are all over the price range as well as most Detroit breed Muscle cars. Really depends on the condition and what factory engine option was under the hood. As of late, many resto jobs have been selling for less then what it costs to do a frame off restoration. But a couple years ago, Detroit Muscles were fetching top dollar! What is still fetching the big money at auctions is the Late 60' to Early 70's ('70-'71) Hemi cars, Dodges & Plymouths. Of course when you are talking numbers matching one of 15 cars ever produced, you are going to see some $$$$ get shelled out fo these beauties. Of course some of the BOSS and 429 Hemi Stangs are getting top dollar. @Vintage1680 - Mods? You are kidding right? 550HP is more then enough to keep me content, and chewing threw rear rubber, and premium fuel...okay maybe some exhaust, but she already has a wicked rumble. @Red - Thanks man!
  14. Some beautiful cars here around here. My Toys: Shelby GT500: Volvo C30 R-Design in the garage. Fun little car. Bigger Turbo kit on Order from RICA... I used to work for a company that did a lot of high end aftermarket vehicle mods and show cars... Z06 Convertible...Not a Corvette Convertible with Z06 badges, but a actual Z06 with it roof chopped, and a Convertible Top installed. ...and the only bike to still have... My Fav. Ride...Katana 135...
  15. If they do touch it, they may restor it back to the factory spec condition. I know Breitling and Rolex work this way. Of course they will charge you for their refinishing time as well.

  18. Pro Diver 2 on a tang buckle? Have only seen Pro Diver 2's on a Deployment at my AD's. Hmmm... Did not know they even did it on a tang.
  19. It is okay...not really what I think of when I hear "Graham"...needs the big lever on the side.

For the most part I agree with, but I have had some finishing elements cause issues in the gear train, erratic rates and amplitudes, really just a poor beat due to balance staffs and gear trains looking fresh of a lathes with grooves I could feel with tweezer tips. No polishing or finish work done.
  21. I know it is not on your list and you want a Pilot bracelet but....Super Ocean Heritage! Keeps the 12,9,6 Sub dial layout, not a blingy as a B01 or Bentley, Sporty, yet very classy elements and classic lines. Source a Gen mesh bracelet....
  22. Ah got you. Did the Swiss balance you got, not have a hair spring on it? Or was it just the balance? Hit me up if you have issues getting parts. I do have a spare 2836 balance with hair spring around. I can always just send you the hair spring.
