  1. Donation sent, can't let someone be out of a watch on their B-Day.
  2. Cool comic. The nest part is that it's already out of the plastic so you can read it too. I think your son should already have a hobby to share with you, reps.
  3. Funny choice of words in your title. I'm sure you'll have a nice Canal Street rep that you paid 100x the value for. What did you get?
  4. PO hands down, one of my favorite genuine watches. The look and weight are a great combo. I have the black on black and it pretty much goes with whatever I'm wearing that day, though I usually wear jeans and t-shirts.
  5. Seeing that steering wheel reminds me of the movie Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. The guy got into a wreck and was so scared he bent the wheel over just like that. It doesn't look like much was salvageable from that wreck. Knowing my insurance company they would tell me that they are going to repair it and not total it out. Too bad they died, but I'll bet they were having a lot of fun just before that wreck. Nanuq is showing off his tracking skills, "It looks like a car was through here recently".
  6. You spoil her too much, you should send that fiddy to me. Very cute, good to see another father proud of their kids.
  7. Tell her Happy Birthday from all of us here. Did she get a nicely modded PAM127 for her birthday? It's hard to imagine a cute little girl like that came from a thumb as ugly as yours RBJ.
  8. Sorry I missed your Birthday, so Happy Belated Birthday! I hope you had a nice one.
  9. @bricky, you must post a price as per forum rules. This isn't eBay or OBO. Post a price, that's the forum rules (even states or your post will be deleted). I'm sure you understand the forum rules being a co-admin of our sister site.
  10. Ok, put me in for one. Do I send the details to you or him?
  11. What backing will he use or will it be the leather folded over on itself? (Sorry for all the questions)
  12. What lengths are we looking at? And I have to ask $?
  13. I used to subscribe to that magazine, but it cost me too much (i wanted to buy too many of the watches). I'll have to check this one out today when I go out to run some errands.
  14. I like reps for a "test drive" for genuine. It has also educated me to all the different brands that are available on the market. I probably would have never bought a genuine Panerai unless I had bought a rep first because I was "scared" of the 44mm. Now, if I get anything smaller than 44mm it looks too small on my arm, so the hard part is fining the larger size selection of watches on the market. I really never got into all the modification stuff, I usually don't have them long enough to mess with all that. I did get some tools to take them apart and clean the crystals and realign dials (minor things). Anyway, it is a fun hobby and it is an expensive hobby too.
  15. Most of my genuine have great lume. There are a few exceptions though, like Glycine. Also all Panerai (gen) are not lumed the same, my 024 had crappy lume, but the 104 and 090 have great lume (all F series). My Omega PO (gen) has great lume as well, you can see it glow coming from outside into a brightly lit room. I've had mixed experiences with reps, some are great and others are crappy.
  16. Well, if it's not for an investment, then get the one you like the best. For that price you can get many different styles. Which style do you like? I have (or had) a PAM024, PAM104, PAM111, PAM090.....I liked them all. It just depends on what you like, so make up a short list of the ones you like and then we can give you better input.
  17. Same here, first I got an IE error page and now this time I'm getting the eternal page loading.
  18. Ok, worked for me this time (since I knew what I was doing). It even clicked through and brought up the PayPal page, but I didn't log-in there. I got ticket #690.
  19. Oh, I was trying to use my old one. My thinking was, if I'm making a new account it better be one I can remember. I'll try to make up a new one now.
  20. Good one, I'm sure you'll get more than a few with that one.
  21. Nice choice Iso. Drive it well, but as mentioned you need to get more watches, that SUV would have gotten a lot of nice reps.
  22. @JJ, that was a good one, got a chuckle out of me (thank you). I hope Panerai are a little more smooth with their touch-up.
  23. Good one, he's Mr. Roboto.
  24. They are nice looking, but most of them are sold out. Like mentioned they do make nice reps.
  25. Best thing I have ever done was buy mutual funds, I'm averaging a 22% overall return over the past 5 years.
