Actually, I was serious. I was just surprised no one else thought that this was odd since most watches are for the left hand. I could not think of a reason for this. But - definitely - the watch is a very nice and Silix comes out first again. Usil
  2. When I travel - I sleep with it on the wrist and any time I wake up in the night, I have no trouble telling the time. It is readable all night. I doubt that the lume could be made that much better. Usil

  4. My first collection came out of the large selection of nice looking but cheap (smallish) reps offered by Trusty. Then I bought my first PAM (111h of course) and suddenly they were all too light and too small. So, got rid of those and slowly started with the larger reps in the >42mm. Over time, I found I had loaded up on too many Chronos and got tired of them. Sold a few and now I really like the Breitling Heritage, always liked the UPO and wear my 111h again after servicing from The Zigmeister and just bought a new Strap Culture for my Fiddy which looks very nice so it is sharing some wrist time. So, back to the simpler look. My current collection allows me to do this and I like the variety depending on the mood. I would like to get a red Porsche for some color (my Breitling Heritage is blue) but the prices is hitting me a little hard and a Grahym is tempting but because of it's shape - it would probably not be a regular watch to wear and >400 is just too much for a watch to wear every once and a while. I buy less now than I used too and take more time with a selection. Rarely go out and buy one fresh in the market but the Heritage was an exception but then again the price was very good. I bought the mesh bracelet for it because I really liked the look and it provided me with another level of variety in my collection. I wear the Heritage regularly and it is the most comfortable (large) watch to wear I own. Yes, my tastes have changed but I still like variety and I have watches I have not worn for over a year like my early generation Breitling Chrono Avenger but I will never sell it. And - sometimes I just like to put my Bentley 6.75 back on to feel some weight and see some bling. Variety is the spice of life. Usil
  5. The word is that you just look at the chronos and not actually use them. Sensitive and prone to failure in the reps. Happens a lot. Sorry you did not read more posts on this. Usil
  6. Mesh is definitely the way to go. To me - it is more comfortable than my Pams. Most comfortable watch I own. Usil
  7. Very nice looking watch. Wear it well. Usil
  8. Please do a lot more reading in the forum before saying something like this. Everyone here knows that an AD would spot it in any examination. Usil
  9. Interesting to know they have an upper class line. Look good. AND - the new rep prices are approaching that price range (more than half way to a grand). I guess that is one way to move me to buy a gen so - reps are good for the gen trade? Usil

  11. This is a great community and all the best to you. Never bought a gen but some day. Usil
  12. Personal information on the web and in the forums has to be the reason for some of these kind of thefts. There must be thieves that hang out here and to make matters worse I have seen numerous posts in this forum and others that go like this: 1. What kind of car do you drive? 2. Where do you live? 3. Show us pictures of yourself? 4. Where do you go for holidays? 5. How many gens do you own? 6. How old are you? 7. How many kids - what kind of dogs - etc... 8. Lots more personal questions... Over the past two years anyone could amass considerable amount of personal information and there is no lack for people stepping up and providing the information. If not the crooks then maybe the feds are listening. It can't hurt to be a little paranoid about this - it might protect you in the long run. Usil
  13. Welcome to the forum. Now you will have to save ther pennies for both of you. Usil
  14. Excellent AR for a rep right from the dealer. Don't think it needs an AR update. Usil
  15. Nice watch for you. What took you so long? Usil
  16. I called that one totally wrong. Right - Phoband, and here they are. Now I just need the clams to get one of these high priced beauties. I want one of both types. Usil
  17. The Zigmeister never gave an opinion on the competition - he showed us their work. Usil
  18. Very true. You will never even think about buying the mall watches again much less care about giving them a glance as you walk by. ... and you can learn to regulate your own watch. Usil
  19. Very nice new bracelet design. Hope this gets repped. Usil
  20. Subzero - looks pretty nice - great collection and thanks for the shot. You really like rubber straps. Are thier other options on straps for the Porsch? Usil
  21. Anyone bought the red dial version of the Porshe rep? If you have any pictures to share that would be nice. Dealer shots are not the greatest and not sure of actual color. Is it deep red? red orange? Close to Gen color? Usil
  22. You have a real talent for creating these reviews and it is always welcome. The Breitling line of watches have some really good looking watches. I like them all. Thanks for your review. Usil
  23. Risky. Order one at a time. Less to loose if get's caught or lost in mail. Also, my pictures above show the difference in the date height to the dial - see the Navigator (not so bad) and the all white Bentley (sunken). Usil
