look on ebay for 2846 you will find lots of new watches from unknown brands with 2846 in them for less than a new movement like this one

I love Bob straps, they strat off a bit hard to break in but are very good quality and very hard wearing

If you want to age the insert, i tried and failed on the PMWF ones nothing but violent action would fade them. In the end Ubi gave me a very nice faded MBW one for my 1680

Just have a read on the forum and you will find lots of tips, me personally i just wear them, but some people carry them round in a pocket full of coins for a day or so.

As every one above has said it is very dependent on your budget and the research you put into it, the new 1655 is a good starting point and some thing you can wear, it just needs a bit of aging.
