  1. That he did MP, but the srange thing here is thast the seconds :3 we have seen so far have been the new 28800 7750s, looking at the regulator this is either a gen (doupt it) or an older 21600 version, any one else shine any light on this? just noticed it says at the top 21600 so this in an older movement with the sec @3 mod plate!
  2. I would get it to a watch smith as the click, click spring and a tiny screw could be wandering about the inside of your watch just looking for something to chew on.
  3. That is how all rolex bracelets feel like to me after the UPO SOSF and Ingy.
  4. Sounds like the click for the main spring is loose or its spring (the ratchet mech that holds the tention in the main spring) if this was a basic movement i might be able to tell you where to look but on the seagull, no idea, sorry,
  5. Have a happy christmas Rob and family.
  6. A very nice watch, nice short film, i just cant get round to liking the HBB, i am not sure why, i like the look of carbon fiber and ceramic but i just cant like this design, Nice film though, wear it well Tom
  7. Nice looking pam, so which one are you getting next, becase onece that bug bites and the fevers sets in!
  8. It should be ok dont worry untill it stays like that for over a week.
  9. Ken if you realy want a nice IWC have a look at the new ingy with double AR, I have both the ingy and SOSF and they are of equal quality
  10. Mine was my first decent breitling too, hold on to your socks beacuase mine were blown off!
  11. A reliable collector, but use the search function for your own peace of mind
  12. I got mine off the wife for a while tonight while my wife tried out a new soft buffalo strap i had made and i think i need another in blue maybe so it would be nice to compare witha new one.
  13. I would rather see a better watch than a 100% perfect rep, i once help on the build and resoration of a BSA C11 bike, we built it with TI fasteners an improved it where it could be with in the style of the vintage and with modern materials, some purist complained, Another time i worked on a 1920s harley with a chair, the owner wanted all original parts even down to the fibre wrapped wire what a pain it looked good but was not a very useable bike, An improvement is never a detractment!
  14. If people are happy with my location you could fly to padaborn or hanover and i can arange pick up, Pad is best as it is only 30 KM away, from that you should be able to work out if you would drive or not, 4 hours from the border BTW
  15. Belguim is good too, good access via brusels for the UK members. I will attend as long as i am in europe at the chosen time were ever.
  16. To be honest the rep you linked to just looks cheep in fit and finish, there are versions of the moon watch out there that are of very good quality if you are after a speedy.
  17. There is i similar looking speedy but it is a far cry from that one, it is the speed master day date version. have a look
  18. Hi and welcome, I think the main thing that makes reps expensive is what the market is willing to pay. Also bearin mind the quality of some of our reps, once you have a SOSF, BCE Ingy ect you will proberbly agree that they are at least what we pay when compared with the high street and what you get for $300 there.
  19. Reasons for germany A I Live here B I have a venue for up to 70 pers in a small vilage, 1 hour from hanover, 30 min from Padaborne with a couple of well priced hotels. C I would enjoy the challenge of putting this together.
  20. The fav location was Brussels so going to run with that. Poll added here for when we could do this
  21. How about starting with a europe meeting. Any one interested?
