Ordering from outside the EU is a gamble that you will win 99% of the time and can be fairly fast as well, i now prefer the EU dealers just because the risk of getting a non worker is very slim as the watch passes through there hands and not drop shipped direct from the factory.

Am i correct in thinking that if i loosen the screw @1 and move the locking spring @2 i can adjust the placement of the date wheel thus getting it in the middle of the date window???? and if that is the case how is this done on a 2836 with the day wheel fitted?

A mate of mine has a gen speedy from the 70s and he runs the chrono all the time with no ill effects because he prefers the large sec hand to be running thats all.
