PS i gave the railmaster a much deserved polish last night as i realiased i had never done so and have abused it sooo much and it gleams like new again, Cape Cod :thumbsup:
Ordering from outside the EU is a gamble that you will win 99% of the time and can be fairly fast as well, i now prefer the EU dealers just because the risk of getting a non worker is very slim as the watch passes through there hands and not drop shipped direct from the factory.
Not being an owner of the IWC i cant be fully objective but i do own a SOSF and it is ace, very good quality, on the bracelet it is heavy and macho, on the leather macho and stylish, allround a very good watch.
Am i correct in thinking that if i loosen the screw @1 and move the locking spring @2 i can adjust the placement of the date wheel thus getting it in the middle of the date window????
and if that is the case how is this done on a 2836 with the day wheel fitted?
You need look no futher than the sites listed here, there is also a thread listing all of the scam sites that we know of. spend some time round here and you will find soooooo much info and some very good sellers, one of the most inmportant factors is where you are based.
A mate of mine has a gen speedy from the 70s and he runs the chrono all the time with no ill effects because he prefers the large sec hand to be running thats all.
