I too stayed away from electric as a preferes a good manual scrub, but now we have what looks like a manual but is also electric so you can still have a good scrub but with the added advantage of the cleaning of an auto. My 8yr old had to point out that we could turn them on though :cc_surrender:

There was a post some where here with the gen part numbers that you require to get i am not sure how much they were but i would say that would be the better fix than just shortening the stem.

A very honerable project in my view, why not gut a rep for the case and crystal. a dial i think will be the bigest problem, i have a coupe i dials that look like an unbranded 1680 if you want with great lume, they wont fit the movement but with dial dots any thing is possible.

I would like to see more harmony and less bitching. oh and more supporting!

I think the pasat year has been outstanding for new reps, we have seen every thing from cheep asian Chopard GT to the super expencive HBB and every thing in between that we have called "super", a new rolex that diect from china took gen parts and survived the deep with the gen. Thanks guys, i would say from that that the AR on the SOSF is about same as the gen when i had voth together that day the spots shoed up the same and in daylight they gave the blue tone the same. now where can i find a gen ingy to compare?
