Couple of rearitys in there!!!!!!

Hi Jumbie, I run, ride a Harley (think vibration) go to the gym, work in the garden and every thing else one can just about think of doing including swimming (not diving more than 3m) in my reps, in particular my Aqua Terras and railmaster. So far i have not had a problem with what i do and my watches. I only have one chrono an IWC porto and i wear that for smarter occasions mostly. Non have been serviced as yet but will be in the future (going ziggys way i hope) so i think you will have no problem with this So, at the risk of annoying the hell out of everyone with the repetition, do you think that I could reasonable expect to see (barring any other faults) around 3 years of life out of a properly oiled and cleaned Tag Link Chronograph with the Asian 7750 movement if I got it serviced right away? Also, what's your opinion of wearing it for, let's say a month, and then having it serviced? Would that shorten the life as compared with doing it immediately? I doubt that wearing it for a month will cause that much trouble either. But if it is working well you would be less likely to send it away once it has found a place on your wrist! Andy

Aqua terra Railmaster any of these work real well, on leather for the smarter side of casual, and SS for the more casual.

If you were looking at a small budget the a molnija, would fit and would be a good movement once seviced, have a look at davidsens vintage style ones with the rolex plates. like this one when they are nice and clean and with out the plates they look OK, the money you save getting one would alow you the have a bit of polishing done to the bridges, they are cheep look here, the more you look the cheeper you will find one.

Absolutely, and especially on the quality front, most just think what they find for $20 is all a rep can be.

Try wearing the watch and doing some fast manual wrist exercise before you go to sleep, it will not work if your wife /GF helps you unless she is wearing the watch.

Mine is still doing fine too.

not to keen on the mesh bands, but should be a piece of p to rep.

I bought a DayDate for my mum, got the box the whole lot, all from Josh, It was supposed to be for xmas but arrived a tad to late (not the dealers fault) so i gave it to her next time i saw her, Easter. I told her it was a rep (she knows i collect reps) but would not believe me at first. She wears it all the time, washing the dished ect and tells me it keeps perfect time, she loves it and knows what it is, a rep! The best bit is my mum works in a very posh privately owned furnature shop and her boss is a stuck up cow by all accounts (old money). When she noticed the Rolly my mum had, she went an checked the price at the AD then inquired how my mum could afford a rolex on what they pay! My mum just smiled and said "because my son loves me" and walked off, it made her week! She also collects boxes, not any old cardboard boxes but gift ones, and said she would have been happy with just the box. BUT it would never give one to some one who thought it was real, that is just wrong.

Its been a Fiddy day today, was on BOB carbon with platinum stitching but just changed to a stripped standard rep band for a change, and to be honest it is softer than the BOB now. Hey Pizzanoo is that the black face with good Ar, looks great.

I just had a quick look at the white number version and the date font is rubbish as usual but what other faults do you see?

But for 100 bucks you cant go wrong, great watch wear it well.
