  1. That is something i noticed about the railmaster, i always thought that the Ar was light but i must wipe the glass hunderd times aday to get off the marking that the AR show. By the way if thatis a rep on TZ i would like to know where he got the thing as it is spot on, look at the omega sign , no rep like that! and that lume
  2. Who was it the other day said it about if a Panisteria called him out, "Why would i pay $5000 for a $400 watch" such a true comment, ok so you dont get the gaurentee and box but they are not realy worth the gen price are they. With the Omega you get the co-axial works that you cant get in a rep or from any other retailer but my wifes one keeps worse time than my 2836 railmaster!!
  3. While you are at it what about getting the cannon pin rectified, and the font on the bridges, we see there are the parts available so a perfect 217/127 or for that matter any of the hand winds shouldnot be that far away?? After all we have saphire with AR, we have the correct swans neck adjuster, case back with different ser nos ala 187 and super lume and the only give away that any one could then spot would be the balence [censored] on some models as opposed to the bridge, or am i still missing some thing?
  4. Just cant get it off during the week need some thing new
  5. If i got called out i wouldjust say thats why i Paid $238 and not $2000

  7. Definatly a very good copy and a very nice comparison i know a lot people have been complaining about the lack of AR, but look at it, a solid watch, great style, only very minor differences on a side by side in depth, zoomed in set of comparison photos, I would say over 98% perfect if not a lot better and i am trying to be objectional here so dont flame me saying only 98% for less than 20% of the price or a gen, if you are that botherd send it to finepics for an AR coat. Great watch Joshua, just great. It is also nice to know that our dealers have taste to buy the gen. I would have thought a better adver would be to say you only wear a rep though
  8. I agree, could the dealers though offer a better price to supporters(i dont mean cheeper than now) than noobs in a private vip/supporter area area bearing in mind the extra work to change websites ect, or a discount voucher put 2/3£ on the price for noobs and pass the discount on to the supporters of the forum that provides the conduit to the dealers?
  9. @ Pugwash, you photos are so good i am tempted to drive to paris for a GTG just so you might take some pics for me! I think the best and funnyest was a moon watch on mars!
  10. Are the CG to small or is it just me and the date mag looks a touch to light maybe 2x??? I will not profess to be a sub expert so i may be wrong
  11. Gerald Genta made a mickey mouse watch last year i think it was that had a retail of 95000 euros or some stupid amount like that.
  12. Chears clive i knew it was some thing like that, so far all of my reps exect the pams on leather have survived the 10/15 bar tests
  13. A few grand to start with a longer canon pin and the garentee
  14. I thin people say "great minds think Alike"
  15. I think we were typing at the sametime crystalcrainium
  16. The 200m is a mesurment of static presure, it dose not take into account dynamic presure, diving in to a pool could easily provide a dynamic pressure of over 50m. That is why a 30m 3ATM is only considered splash proof, and a diver graded watch a minimum of 200m 20ATM. Do you realy think that if you buy a new sea dweller you could go down to 4000ft???????? if you are willing to try it i will buy you one
  17. The one in the link you show does not have the balence [censored] as in Ziggys link but a bridge. However, as ziggy has said he has seen no more of these movements with problems, i have one myself and it is fine. It looks the same as in the link from trusty. Infact i got it from him in my fiddy and the only thing wrong with that is that i broke the crystal.
  18. I have a seiko pilots chrono that i wear for wars and the like. I bought my first when i was left some moneywhen i was 15 for about £15 in 1985 just before i joined up, 5 years later i lost that one claimed on my insurance, got a new one, later that got stolen, claimed and got a new one, it is sort of a good luck thing. It only sees daylight when i go away though. I have a cheep seadweller for gardening but my railmaster gets the most wear. My wife wears here gen AT @ £1400 for washing the pots but not her 217 !
  19. Buy them both and see what you think, they are both nice watches especialy the new 6th gen 45mm PO and for cheep but fantastich quality try TTKs LV if he still has any, it was same quality as NOObmarina and same price. Remember once you pop you cant stop
  20. Got a dinner night tonight so i think the IWC Port Chrono then tomorrow back to the Railmaster, just cant get it off
  21. A Glaswegian walks into the local job centre, marches straight up to the counter and says, "Awwriiiight big man... you know, I just dinna like being on benefit, I'd really rather huv a joab." The social worker behind the counter says, "Your timing is excellent. We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a chauffeur/bodyguard for his nymphomaniac daughter. You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, but he'll supply all of your clothes. Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll be expected to escort her on her overseas holiday trips. You will have to satisfy her sexual urges. You'll have a two-bedroom apartment above the garage. The starting salary is £200,000 a year". The Weegie says, "You're bull****tin' me!" Social worker says, "Aye well, you started it."
  22. Mine fell off as it was on my arm when it broke so as far as my dial goes it is fine.
  23. Have a look Larger daydate, from Josh, i have mysecond one on order right now as the first was so good and the lady in question loved it and i would say 99.99999 perfect and sooo classy but without being over stated. Looks even better in real life, and now with the rehaut engraving and perfect rolesor bracelet
  24. Same happened to me the other week, i hade been walking in and out of buildings and we had a cold snap that day and i put it down to changes in temp, but sat in a watch box in a room that should be a stable enviroment, well mine it on the way to finebix for a new crystal as of this morning.
