you need to either take it to a watch place, i recomend one of those places in the mall that wont blink an eye at the watch or get yourself a pin tool

the photos at the top of this thread and the photos in his dealer section are of the new, as of a few days ago, PO version. one of the ones on his site, the one that does not have the photos to be updated soon, also has the new photos.

Porn. Seriously, - Music (phoBAND duh) Watching football Collecting football jerseys Fantasy football Tech toys especially phones (blackberry ect) Web design/ graphic design Photography Reading blogs on tech toys blackberrycool.com, www.gizmag.com (awesome sight for technology geeks), www.mobileburn.com Hosting radio show Home theater - it took me like 7 yrs to get my system to where it is but I am completly content. Thinking about how cool it would be to do a different hobby Realizing that those other hobbies cost $$

yeah, to bad they didn't keep up. anyway - just to ad onto the above, i have only heard great things about mac's - only issue is difficulty finding software - at least software from your friends to borrow. everyone has a opy of ms office laying around. anyway - my mac friends are mac loyalists. and - on the dell - i went through compaq hp, desknote and a few others - the reason i say i like the dells =- i got the 700m 2 yrs ago. its been a super trooper, held up really wel, good pricing = i also got a few year old ok, really old - pIII 800mhz - for like 300 bucks, i got it a few years ago to, can't remember got it for my wife to use around the house to surf the internet - that case has also held up very well this is opposed to the 3 yr old pos HP i'm typing on that practically droops around my leggs

that was even better in the unsensored version

nice pj's i heard about this on the radio today good luck, i'm sure it will be a mess for a few days -
get a new one laptops are not ment to last a few years if used regularly, i have a few that are a few years old, they all have issues. my newest one is 2 yrs old. dell constantly has some very nice laptops for great prices. i recomend dell. i haven't had a toshiba in years, but of the few brands i have had,- dell seems to have the best "case" that lasts the longest, and the problems i have had are when the case starts bending and bowing, thats when the monitor cables get flimsey and parts inside go nuts. the dell cases i have had have stayed very sturdy and strong.

yup, definatly a collector who, as best i can figure subsidizes his collecting expenses by getting a few extra and selling them its nice if you can do it. the rest of us have to fight with our wives

yeah, he has alot of his mother too, i'm sure he'll look nothing like me but my sister has the same thing going on with one of her kids - we must have strong jeans or uh, genes in fact, i think he has the best parts of both of us.

How Many People Have You Spread The Replica Bug To?
fotoman replied to crystalcranium's topic in General Discussion
i have had a few friends and family buy some, my wife has a few now - no one scours the boards like me though i'm generally staying out of the helping friends and families now though cause the expectations are high and then i become the middle man for problems. Luckily i can just direct them to Josh's site with confidence. Easy to shop, use paypal and not bother me about it prior to perfect clones - i would have to sit with them or ask them to shop abay or something and send me the photo of what they wanted -
Just to straiten a few things out. 1. Silix has NOT been able to procure the same version as josh and trusty and from best I understand he will not be getting it. 2. These are silix's latest photos he posted them in his section of the forum and emailed me some as well. 3. This is available in both 2836 and 2824 However silix says case size is the same.

to me the silver part of the bezel looks the same on both, but they both look different then the gen which has a little more orange. hadn't noticed that about the logo - good catch
-
i have noticed since i got back that silix is offering the PO for 150$ plus shipping since this is a signifigant discount over the Josh/ trusty version i thought it demanded review. Silix's watch is from a different manufacturer, and has a few differences that i can see. I'm not sure if they are meaningful or not. Here is what i found - comments welcomed Hands Silix hands are shorter than Josh. But using josh's photos, compared to the gen his hands are slightly long the gen is in the middle and silix is slightly short - all within the margin of error i think Bezel Josh's numbering seems better placed, silix's 40 looks to close to the bezel edge. Silix is also missing the orange outline around the triangle. However, the pearl is straight and more filled - maybe slightly over filled but closer to the gen i think. Case thickness - looks to be about the same fonts different fonts on the helium valve and on the back clasp. Comments - these watches are very similiar - in fact the type of detail were talking about is so rediculously small i can't believe i have obsessed over it this much. I am not however a omega expert. - in advising my brother in law on which one to get, i'm leaning silix at the moment because of price. here are the pictures photoshoped together for comparison hands fonts thickness pearl

I requested super thick

with the forum up and downs with being online over the last few weeks i had put up a thread with some photos that i thought would have alot of interest. And it only had like 30 views. So i bumped it - it got back in rotation people commented then it quickly went up into the hundreds. There are lots of threads that i don't catch till the 2nd or third time around on my new posts screen that are pretty good. You should have a good idea of what will be interesting to most and just to a few, if its not getting the hit count that you would expect, bump it, someone will comment and it can take on a life of its own

and you bes call it the phoband strap, cause i am a lawyer and i will knock on your door. Seriously - thank V he is the one who spotted the leather and offered it up, i am very excited. - I bought this without a pam to put it on. I think i have the one i want picked out, but still haven't gotten it. I saw it and knew it was wow, had to have it - figure out the watch part later i'm leaning to the 253

i love my noobmariner LV, next one will definatly be eta of course for the 28,800 I know there is some decent gold out there, or at least 2 tone. I know the wight is going to be off but i'm th eonly one who will wear it. I've been checking out gold on gen's and cheap watches for the last few years. there is so much variation that i tink it would be hard to tell aone if its a rep. Rep right next to gen is a different story
-
was it ruff squeezing the 24mm strap in there? cause there are some nice 24mm orange gator straps that i passed up in order to get a 22mm one
-
freaking hilarious, i have met some people and got to he point we both admitted they were reps we were wearing but no one has known about the forum. Its really easy to say RWG? =- like, nice watch - RWG? did you get it at that store in downtown you kinow the RWG store - or, wait, i ment WEMPE. Right wrong initials
-
i have this rep and maybe i tried on the wrong variationon the gen but - its no where close. The gen is wafer thin and smaller diameter, felt to me smaller than 1 mm. in fact it was so small and dainty i wouldn't like the gen. I like this rep though.

Well, in my travels i have had the opportunity to meet several forum members. All have been extremely interesting individuals with amazing stories and fascinating lives. All have been extremely hospitable and some have gone out of their way to help a fellow traveler enjoy some of the local ambiance. I am happy to say that Omni is such a stand up person. He was very nice to meet me while i was in town and take me out to enjoy a beautiful restaurant (wish i had a photo but wife had the camera) on the beach on a perfect winter day (80 degrees and breezy) it was from what i could gather a top end seafood restaurant. we both had the steak - i can say the onion soup here is some of the best i have had wow afterward he was nice enough to help me find the local walmart so i could restock some baby supplies before going on with the travels. I just wanted to say thanks again. I wish i could share with all of you some of the amazing folks i have meet through this forum. - some amazing people but - our hobby forbids such detail -its amazing how some of us are in so many different stages of our lives, live on opposite sides of the world and yet have so much in common. Omni's living the good life in an amazing place only hope to be as lucky as he one day. i look forward to continue to meet more members. Especially at our soon to be scheduled South Florida Meet up.
