  1. Good choice. My personal favourite of the Seamaster line. If i could get the full sized auto version for a decent price ($1400 USD or there abouts), i think i'd buy one myself.
  2. I wear my black UPO almost exclusively on brown croc, although i have the rubber strap and bracelet for it. I've also tried black croc, but i prefer the brown. I got Joshua's rep 22/18mm croc strap with Omega deployant.
  3. Jeager Lecoultre isn't pronounced YAY-ger Le-Cool-ter Listen to this: hxxp://www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/professions.do
  4. I look forward to reading it. As an owner of a PRS and Ibanez Jem, i'm thinking of getting a PRS rep just to hang on my wall and look at!
  5. Narikaa has or had one. It might have been a quartz one, i can't remember.
  6. I'd definitely go for the Newsgroups option. I don't think any other option would give decent download speeds. Post it in multipart RAR format (say 50MB parts), with 10% PAR2 files. Create an NZB of it (which is basically a list of files to get), then host the NZV and link to it here. 2GB would only take about 15 minutes for me to get from my news provider, as i can max out my 20Mb connection. Something which would be very unlikely to happen if hosted on the web.
  7. The best ones were out in late 2004. The Zigmeister and Bazz have one each. They were 007 limited edition models, and had a perfect case, good pearl, great bracelet. I arrived on the rep scene after they were all gone The second best ones came out in February 2005. These had a slightly less accurate case (thicker, HEV placed lower than it should be), but a great dial, and great bracelet. Still the best bracelet on any rep i own. There's one in the FS section. Be quick, it won't be there long That version has got progressively worse as time has passed. They still use the same case, but the bracelet has moved to screws (due to the original being a pain to resize), and the dial has mysteriously lost its 3 o'clock marker recently. I agree with the post above. The best one out at the moment is the SMP Chrono.
  8. I own both the UPO lite, and the asian SOSF. The UPO has a 28,800bph movement (the DG 4813), and SOSF has a 21,600bph movement in it. I don't know what it is, as i don't want to take the back off; but it's definitely a difference beat rate. Mt SOSF is about 8 weeks old if it makes a difference.
  9. I have to say brown croc looks awesome on a white SOSF or white Chronomat Evo
  10. Google Checkout is out in the UK too. Hopefully Amazon will follow suit, and give
  11. 062 SB 3063 is the part number for the 45mm Planet Ocean crystal. The one ending in 65 is for the 42mm version.
  12. Ultimate PO 45.5mm Ferrari FER008 Breitling Super Ocean Steelfish Omega Seamaster Professional - The one that came on the market Feb 2005 with pins in the bracelet. I've been collecting for about 2.5 years, and these are a cut above the norm.
  13. Owww. My eyes! I suspect it's geniune too. At least it was before someone defaced it.
  14. Great photos. It looks like you've given it a polish. Maybe i'll get the cape cod out to mine.
  15. The whole book is referenced by case back number and material (ST is steel for example). The mid-sized quartz Seamaster i have here for example is referenced as ST 196.1522. A quick search with google, and i found this on Ofrei: "Planet Ocean Bezel 082SU1703 to fit Omega model 2200.50.00 Omega case number 168.1650" So i guess, the number i need is 168.1650. EDIT Right, here are what you wanted: Crown: 069ST42184 Tube: 090ST1232 Bezel: 082SU1703 NOTE: I don't know which colour that is. There is only one watch with this case number listed, and that's the only bezel number. The hands are on Ofrei as HAN-4221 (minutes and hour) and HAN-4222 (seconds) http://www.ofrei.com/omega-watch-hands-caliber-2500.html The HE valve parts are as follows: tube: 090ST1242 valve head: 286ST0005 spring for helium valve: 085ST0067 I'm sure there are more for the valve, but the complete set isn't listed like it is for the bond models, and the abbreviations are of French words, so i have to look each one up.
  16. If it's the bond style mid-sized you need to get them for, Ofrei has them listed as OME-114ST1501. I happen to have a gen mid sized bond Seamaster, and the bracelet number is 1502, with 824 end links. If its one of the other mid-sized Seamasters, just PM me the case back number, and i'll have a look.
  17. If someone can provide the case back number or the 45mm PO, i have the Omega parts list (for modern not vintage watches) here so can look them up.
  18. Looks like the asian 45mm with 20mm lugs that Andrew sells/sold. It came out around April 2006. I have one.
  19. Theres a name from the past. I was so jelous of your old factory black Seamaster. Anyway, onto the Planet Oceans. I have both. I have the asian movement one in Orange, and the ETA in Black. Fit and finish wise, they're pretty much identical. The seconds hand on the asian one isn't quite as smooth as the ETA, despite the same beat rate, but it's not really a problem. I guess it depends on your opinion of ETA movements over the asian ones, and weather you can justify the cost difference.
  20. Excellent. Thankyou. I'll send the email tomorrow.
  21. Hi Breitling fans. I got my first Breitlings today, after about 2.5 years of rep collecting. I got the SOSF lite in white, and the BCE with the grey dial (red lettering) Anyway, my BCE has TWO 45 minute markers on the bezel. The additional one being in place of the 15 marker. Does anyone know how these attach to the bezel? They appear to be screwed, but i wondered if they might also be glued. I tried the screw but it was tight. I need a bigger driver to get a good fit. I need to know so i can ask the supplier for either the marker, or the whole bezel
  22. Well, mines finally here, and it was worth the wait. It's truely stunning.
  23. Glad i can help. It is unusual in my experience for EMS to take this long. Its usually 3-4 days to get to the UK, then delivered the next working day, but better late than never.
  24. Scooters and LittleMe you're probably interested in this. Mine's still the same too on the EMS site. BUT, and its a big but for those still waiting, www.parcelforce.com (enter your EMS tracking number and click track, then tracking details) now show my watch as arrived in the UK (well, destination country). This has only happened today, so if you haven't already, I suggest you fellas check there.
