i just bought some montblanc legend and it smells real good. I exhausted my zegna ducati and i realised that the moncblanc lasts 2x as long as the highly vaunted zegna ducati
Aside from the insert of a bk wm9 Tt sub I did not replace anything else.
I also have his yachtmaster that is bone stock
I modded a noob sub with a Jo insert and a watch material pearl which is great for a beater.
Also have a very good 42 pumpkin planet ocean great out of the box but I replaced the bracelet with a NATO strap
Lastly I am also quite happy with my noob 111. The inca block I never touched and just replace straps once in awhile.
So the answer is. The high end models won't need much mods if ever. I'm now eying a noob 4.1 diver which I feel doesn't need any mods. Ill just wait till they sink the bezel screws before buying.

if it cant be repped properly i would buy a gen. The daytona is one and the day date 18238 is another. the former is thin and the latter is heavy
but if someone reps the daytona with frozen sec hand and thin correct 1:1 case, and maybe the 18238 made of tungsten and wrapped then ill sell the gens and get the reps .
I have chivas and put ice on it. i also have royal salute and JW blue
what are the rules for drinking scotch?
On ice or plain Jane?
Further are single malts better?
I have tried jw- black, blue, gold, double black. Love the JW blue taste.
i got my trevor 42 mm planet ocean and brought it in a mall selling other gens not omegas to have the bracelet adjusted. The plastic was still attached to the bracelet since i dont want it scratched
My watchsmith the one who works on sealing my o rings when i buy reps was not there but an elderly watchsmith was.
I asked if he can adjust the bracelet and seal the o rings with silicone. He looks at me and says ok.
Once done he hands me the watch. I asked did he seal the o rings and he just says, with new omegas, those are already sealed from the factory and there is no need to reseal it for another 5 to 8 years.
I shrugged and paid for the bracelet adjustment and decided to go back when my rep watchsmith is present
