Nightmare. No chance of vacuuming up the missing 'N'?
I lost the pearl from a PO bezel insert on the weekend - had high hopes of 'Dysoning' the entire house, and failing that, where I walk the dog. Until, that is, the Mrs smashed a glass...
Probably a dumb question, but oh well....
I'm trying to buy a replacement crown stem for an Asian 21j online (at cousinsuk). I read in one of Ziggy's posts that it's a 0.9mm stem. Does anyone know what Cousins calls the 21j movement?
Here's a list of their names for them here
Actually (for what it's worth) I'm tempted just to get a whole movement for other parts and use the stem from that.
Also, if anyone knows a good place to buy these sorts of parts online in Australia, I'd be grateful
That is a nightmare. I'm not sure you can really win with customs in any country, don't know anyway about Sweden obviously.
[Joking] Perhaps you could get it mixed up with something else you bought in China recently [/Joking]
Otherwise if it doesn't actually make it through customs, perhaps that depends on the arrangement with the dealer. Perhaps this kind of counts as it not making it through. I don't know what Ruby's deal is.
Commiserations anyway.
A week is nothing.
Normally with drop-shippers there is a gap, then you'll get a tracking number, then you can wait for EMS to do its thing.
TTK doesn't drop-ship so it's a slightly different arrangement.
With Paul you get great prices, but the 30 minutes thing is crap.
Aaargh!! Stop showing me new cameras!! Now I need a new stills camera and a new video camera. :cc_surrender:
I got a nifty camera that can do 640 x 480 30fps (progressive) and export files as Quicktime in the past six months and it's fantastic. But that Canon would take a gigantic dump on those specs.
One stat I couldn't see on the Canon is what format it exports the files in. And the other issue is just the sheer size of those files. A 4Gb memory card full in only 13 minutes - once you start getting into high definition that's a serious rig you need on the PC side.
By the way - 4Gb in 13 minutes....I love how they plan to bundle a only a 32Mb card with the camera That's, what, six seconds of film?!
Aye, they're dark horses all right - waiting for the right chance, and then invading under cover of chiming cuckoo clocks....
Before swiftly retreating.
