  1. FYI khashayar it is a firm rule of the forum that reps NOT be taken to ADs.
  2. Wonderful review. Thank you! If the AR has been improved now, then that is great. I know what you mean about Titanium. I've tried the gen and it just feels so light. I kind of prefer steel but then I love blue so I think that will win me over in the end. Plus the titanium is more interesting as a material.
  3. Is it just me, or does the surf around Maui look a bit more lively since Nanuq arrived....
  4. Glenmorangie is a favourite I haven't seen mentioned.
  5. Let's just all agree that Nanuq's watch endurance tests are thorough, OK?
  6. It's a wonderland you live in mate.
  7. Those are some seriously nice drops you have. Wow. Is there a connection between Houston and Aberdeen, Scotland there? The oil industry is massive in Aberdeen, and so much of the whisky is not far down the road.
  8. One solution might be to return to a mutually trusted intermediary. I may have missed something, but as I understand it the OP was offered a full refund (great) if he returned the watch, at which point he'd get the actual refund. So it becomes a bit of a timing issue in terms of trust. The OP also gave an original option of a small rebate. I haven't seen the original sales thread, and everyone from here to Kathmandu knows Hike is a stand-up guy. It will be taken care of I'm sure, I reckon just take it to PM.
  9. Get well very soon. Hope the works gets resolved quickly too.
  10. That's a fantastic bit of axe kit, very cool. With the shoes does anyone have suggestions where the colour of the polish just isn't quite the same as the colour of the shoe? Do you know what I mean when it's quite a different shade, but at the same time you do want to go over it with sorting out scuffs and so on. Or maybe that's just my issue...
  11. Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know the lug width.
  12. They had to make it to comply with EU emmission standards across their range. (V12 beast + golf buggy) / 2 = compliant. Some of the other brands belong to big 'groups' that have smaller cars, such as Fiat and VW. For Aston Martin (now independent of Ford) they either had to cut the balls off their main models, or add a tiny plop of a car to the line up to even it out. That's my understanding anyway.
  13. Does anyone know how much the gen strap is on this? (Or cool alternative straps?)
  14. This is so exciting, but launching them before CNY is a bit mean! Catching up on the thread it looks like they're palming off QC onto customers, and hoping some schmuck will take the bads ones. The bloated logo is not ideal. Good catch. The AR on the 45 is awful, is that right? That's gutting if so.
