  1. Best wishes to you. I've been through much the same thing, and there are no easy words. It's terribly sad, and yet we all muddle on because, well, it's the best option there is. You just cherish what time is left. Take care.
  2. Hopefully he's on vacation somewhere with a lot of scantily clad women.
  3. Fantastic. The king of ebay sniping wins again!!!
  4. First there was RWG, the guy running it (Blade) disappeared and folk didn't have access to the software. In 2006 the entire community moved to this forum to continue pretty much overnight. Admin here also ran the older TRC forum, and that was later folded into here. The old forum carried on unmoderated like the Mary Celeste for a few years with ups and downs until it disappeared. Later some new folk (who first arrived during the later Mary Celeste years) started a new forum, but self-declared themselves as continuing the Mary Celeste one, with none of the old posts, or the old members. It's fair to say we have different names for each other. I thought we'd all agreed on RWG 7: The Phantom Menace for them, but hey.
  5. Wow, one post a year roadcarver! On the servicing front, the Zigmeister seems to end a suspicious number of his posts with 'eh?'.....
  6. Slightly more nude men than I'd anticipated!
  7. Congratulations Slay!! I'm not a jeweller or an expert, but I have bought diamonds sight unseen. It reads to me that she's being genuinely helpful, to try to get your fiancee the perfect ring. On this page it talks about the stats for depth: http://www.diamondarticles.com/diamond-proportions.php It looks like the first one is out of all the categories. If it was me I'd pay that extra 300 euros and then you know you've got the ideal diamond, because it looks just about ideal in every category. And it's a little bit bigger too.
  8. Amazing work. This is a definite improvement. Awesome.
  9. Whoa.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-18142900
  10. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out.
  11. What an amazing adventure. Hope you recover soon.
  12. The lume is indeed crap in the dark.....if there is none. Andy's a funny guy Oddly enough, Trusty's photos seems to have some weird 'soft glow' effect on them that almost suggests there is. Looks like the kind of photo filter a menopausal housewife might apply to a pet kitten. Possibly Trusty's softer side is coming out
  13. Welcome! You'll have all 17 before you know it
  14. Wow! What an amazing journey! Keep on going!! I saw that show on that runway that Ken mentioned, that's a hairy-looking landing for sure.
