  1. Sources? So far I've only read that people in US were automatically redirected from WM to ETz. It's never happened to me although to some members here. It's probable somebody hacked WM's site. Val.
  2. A little Schaffhausen vintage today: Cheers Val.
  3. Funny. This thread is exactly one year old. Although it's truth is of some eternal nature... Val.
  4. Wow. So much work. Great read, thanks very much! Val.
  5. Lovely! Thanks for showing. Very jealous! Val.
  6. Moonie.
  7. Sea-Dweller today: Cheers Val.
  8. Hi The A7750 is a automatic movement, it hasn't a battery but works on kinetic energy. This means that it only works if you wear it on your wrist. Your arm's movements will load it up. It sure is a good idea to get it serviced but before make sure if it's working or not. I urgently recommend to read Toad's fantastic Noob Guide which will answer basic questions you might have. Have fun! Val.
  9. Lani, I thought the True Watch Nut was the one who sports this kind of mark on both hands? I have this too, doesn't bother me really. Val.
  10. I'm happy to report that as of the beginning of the new year nobody has posted anything here. This is according to Admin's request. Obviously members start to get reasonable. Thanks for that. Kind regards Val.
  11. I dont like IWC diver watches, I don't like IWC diver watches, I don't like IWC diver watches... Must... resist... from... buying... echchch!! Dang! I need to get one of those! Thanks for the great review. Val.
  12. Wow, Lani. You have outdone yourself once more with this review. Thanks for taking the time. This must have been a lot of work. Val.
  13. Wow! This is awsome! Great pix s well. Very jealous here. Where's the strap from? Val.
  14. Thanks for the cool links, Lani. I love digging in the old underwood of RWG. I sometimes spend hours surfing old forgotten threads and get to know members who have long disappeard but seem to have been quite important in forming the place as it is today. It's a bit like like wandering through a deserted but intact old city. It also helps undestanding where we've come from in terms of quality of both reps and service by our trusted collectors. We tend to forget how good our world has become! Back to topic: Have a good party tonight and all the best for 2010! Kind regards Val.
  15. That's great work Lani. Thank you! Val.
  16. Finally. It's gone silent. Phew. Val.
  17. Hi Been to Bangkok a few weeks ago. Additionally to the 3rd floor at MBK's there is a very busy stall on the Chatuchak where they sell various reps. All are of minor quality. But Chatuchak is worth a visit anyway. There is also one single stall at MBK's on the ground floor that is said to sell better reps. I passed by there but saw only homages. I didn't ask though, maybe you get to see something interesting. Quality wise it's best to stick to dealers here on RWG. Kind regards Valerian.
  18. Very nice gift indeed, NORing. Not easy to find nice boxes for a decent price. Val.
  19. What kind of Pinot Noir? Mouthwater. Love your choice of food. Ah, wearing my Railmaster today. Val.
  20. Guys, thanks very much for the hints! Looking forward to talk to these tailors. Kind regards Val.
  21. That's very kind of you, Ken. Will do that. Gotta find out when tomorrow is for you though. Val.
  22. Nice answer, Tomhorn. Thanks for that. Va.
  23. Hi everyone Going on a trip to Hong Kong and Thailand next week. I'm thinking about getting a bespoke linen suit in Hong Kong. Are there any HK savvy members here who can recommend a tailor from personal expercience? Thanks a bunch! Val.
