I've no idea - never measured it. A 44mm PAM feels about the right size on my wrist, though - any help?

You know me too well
bad boys..next you'll be talking about clitylitter..
... no, we need iabounty for that

Did you change a dog for a watch??????????????
Sounds like a good trade - I'm more a cat person.

It is 1:1, keeps good time and don't need servicing.
wow - that must beat alphakazi's Tag then....

You can order in UK, http://www.astonmartin.com/
I actually owned an Aston very briefly in the eighties (when I was a lot better off than I am now). This was back when you could still get a good original DBS for under

Thanks to greg-r for finding that site...
Bill
My pleasure.
That's a nice looking watch for the dough - especially for a gen. Good find!

That is a [censored]ing nice white square.
Does it keep good time?

Aston Martin
Yes please.

my doctor gives me high blood pressure
The nurse who takes my blood pressure always gets a high reading...
-
Very nice indeed, Oli. I'll admit the whole secs@ 6 issue tends to scare me off buying a 'tona, but that's a seriously good looking watch and I'm pleased to hear that it's working well. Enjoy!

erk - sorry that didn't work out so well. There but for the grace of God.... etc...
This has certainly made me re-think my whole outlook on buying reps second-hand. I think I'll stick to new...
On a more upbeat note, however, some of those straps look damned good for $3.50...
-
cause your cheap?
Well that's true
However, given that I've managed to destroy one watch (my first VC) and scratch the hell out of two others this year (neither of them anything decent, fortunately), my doctor tells me that it's better for my blood pressure if I don't buy gens

hey not bad greg
how does the shock absorbing mechanism work on it? just try an under hand toss down a stair well to start
I'm a little too good at finding out how the shock absorbing mechanism works without actively trying to break it, thank you. Why do you think I buy reps? lol
-
Also, another reason to own reps instead of gens.... every week SOMETHING happens to my tt submariner, wacking my wrist against a table, scraping it on a wall, hitting the rim of a drum with it, whatever. If I had put that many scratches and scuffs onto a real one... I would be on the floor hyperventilating.
LOL - I hear that, and it's one of the reasons why I wear reps too. I could afford a gen or two, but given that I've completely destroyed one rep and scratched the hell out of two others so far this year, I don't think my blood pressure could handle gen ownership

BMW
Ugh. No thanks (as you'd know if you'd read the thread).

Greg, did you buy a car?
As one wise said - Pics, or it never happened!
lol - no. Not yet. Pay attention at the back
I've had the AMG on loan for the weekend - goes back this morning and I'm reduced to driving a crappy courtesy car until the insurance company make up their mind to write off the one with the tree in it.... I'm hoping it'll be this week.
Meantime I know _where_ I'm buying the replacement and also know that it's going to be an E-class. Whether I go the whole hog and buy the AMG is yet to be decided.

Is it growing?
Give it a couple years and it'll turn into a V8

You should check this one out, I am thinking about getting it repainted with that new satin black finish...
hehe - then all you'll need are the chrome rims and we're back at McDonald's car park at midnight
You wouldn't believe how popular small Citroens are with the custom crowd over here....

Take a look at the 'Links'
(in the header strip at the top of every page)
-
let us know how it keep time and power reserve
Okay, it's finally run down. Having checked the time-keeping, it's certainly within seconds per day. Without an actual second-hand, however, I can't be any more definitive than that. Power reserve is about 32 hours.
-
it's a new satin paint - spun off from the flat black trend I've been seeing more often
I seen it in real life - nice - my gf was like, wow, what's that! with matching rims to boot
it's doesn't reflect any image but still has a shine to it - no matter if you like it - if chicks like it, it's can't be that bad
Interesting - I hadn't seen that finish before. Looks fabulous.

Mate! Who's carrying this at $120?????
With Free shipping????
That'll be TTK.
The shipping is free because it relies on continental drift....
(and yes, John - I'm tempted too )
