The movement isn't nearly thin enough but the dial spacing is better than the 7750. I believe this is the base for the Panerai daylight.

Why do you drive on a parkway and park on a driveway? What is it that makes a shrimp jumbo?

Some bloody bloke went to the loo in the lift. The [censored] lit a fag and the bobbys came to 'aul 'im off.

Yes the no date sub should not have solid end links. The bracelet looks shitty anyway.

Goos choice just like my Gucci. Love the clip wallets.

I like the round version of this watch. The big flaw on these is that there should be a date window between 12 and 1. They made a version with the date window but it is quartz and thus doesn't have the display back. The rotors are nicely done though. Not bad for a $100 watch.

One flaw is that Rolex hasn't released the DJII with a jubilee band yet. It is only available in oyster. Jubilee is next year. Also it is only available with a fluted bezel not smooth. One thing that upsets me with alot of DD and DJ reps is the clasp. The jubilee and president clasp should be spring loaded with a latch attached to the coronet. Some versions have this feature some just snap shut. The oyster models have the proper clasp for the most part. I am partial to the two tone date just II with the fluted bezel and jubilee band. I am waiting for a version with the proper clasp and wrapped midlinks. All the ones available now are plated and you can see the steel on the side of the links. This really bothers me.

This is why my paypal is hooked to a separate free checking account that I only deposit money into as I need it. Only takes a couple of dollars to keep it open. The credit card associated is cancelled as well. Have to be very careful with online banking.

I propose we get in touch with Debbie Gibson and offer her a complimentary platinum membership. That is a nice shot of her ass BTW, pho.

Nice watch.

This has been available in gold and SS for a while. I still don't know why they can't do a king conquistador in the Tonneau shape. These square watches don't do anything for me.

I think this watch looks pretty good. I emailed Hont and he says it uses the low beat movement. The price is $330. I thought it would be much more. As far as the inaccuracies, no one would even know what this watch is and would never be able to say it is fake or real. I think it is close enough for the fact that most people couldn't tell this watch from Debbie Gibsons ass. I like it. Here is a gen for reference.

Just been reading about this big bang. Apparently it is made of king gold which is some new alloy developed for hublot. Some of their watches are made of cermet which is an alloy used in electronics and is heat and scratch proof. I guess it makes sense now why they made a rose gold rep out of rose gold colored ceramic. This information is quite disheartening to me considering these are $30,000 watches. They are not even made of precious metals. Glad we have these reps.

Please someone help me pick my tongue up off of the floor. My wallet is burning. This looks really, really good. It appears to have superior AR, the crystal is non existent in the picture. The multi layer dial is really really nice. I wonder if this comes on a bracelet.

Ahhh nostalgia. I remember the day I stumbled across RWCC while looking at replica watches. Like many I came close to spending $1,000 on a fake watch. I came in to RWCC towards the end and saw a post that TRC was the new place to be. This was around 2003 i guess. I think I was one of the first 100 or so members of TRC. Being a creature of habit I was loyal to TRC for a long time before joining here. I must say that I have spent more time on TRC and now RWG than any other forum or website period. I have made some great friends over the years and am happy to be a part of a community filled with thousands of people who share the same obsessions, err, interests as me. Here's to a long, happy healthy future for RWG and it's members.

I don't know of many hobbies that are supported fully by family and friends. Many hobbies are looked at as obsessions one way or another. If you were into collecting comic books or model trains the response would be the same. Do what makes you happy and others should be happy for you. If they aren't then don't include them in your interests. You have 20,000+ here that understand.

Lani you are speaking my language. I have been trying to eat healthy lately though and have been on nothing but chicken, turkey and fish for 3 weeks. Just got back from the hard rock and cheated with some wings from hooters. Damn that was good. @Pho: sorry about the food talk not trying to hijack the thread............. -

Is the factory AR really that bad? They are supposed to be sapphire crystals. Freddy is right though. The edge of a mineral glass crystal is green and sapphire is clear or white. As for the sandwich crystal you may be referring to sapphire coated. Some watches have mineral glass sandwiched between sapphire. The layers are bonded together with heat and glue and you can look at the edge and see the layers with a loupe. Sometimes with the naked eye. I imagine to sandwich a cyclops in there somewhere would take a lot of work and make the watch more expensive. I could be wrong. How is the gen crystal made? Glue or sandwich? All this sandwich talk is making me hungry. -
I am in the same boat. Part of the reason I am single today. Shoes, shirts, watches, sunglasses, eyeglasses, and jewelry. I tried to give my girls a gift every now and then but all they say is do you really need another watch? Why are you buying another Nat Nast shirt? Yadda yadda. I think most people on this board have some other collections besides watches. We are a rare breed.

The only phones I have ever been happy with is Nokia and Samsung. I am due for an upgrade as well and the reviews for the Samsung Solstice are very good. That will be my next phone probably next week. This will be my fourth Samsung. I had one Sony Ericcson a while ago and it was a piece of crap I hope they stepped up their game. LG and Motorola are also at the bottom of my list.

And then someone comes along and starts giving away watches. You can't possibly pass up the deals, but you don't really need them, do you? Now all of the boxes are full so I need to order another box or sell some watches, but I might buy a shirt that matches that green strap someday so I can't find any I want to part with. Now I have a mostly empty box and I hate to see empty slots so I must order some more watches.......... What a terribly frustrating cycle. Where does it end?
-
It just looks like an easy way for them and their dealers to differentiate between the different grades of watches. Probably the same factory making one for street dealers and tourists and one for the higher end. Probably both cost the same to make though.

I saw this one as well. Came close to buying until I saw the colored bezel on the dimple dial. The rotor is also different and the clasp is laser etched with less detail than the $178 version.
