I think you would be pleasantly suprised with a nice blingy polished SA for going out. I'm not kidding either, you just have to try it out and see what I mean.

I set all the hands to 12 (at midnight) before I went to bed. When I woke up at 6, the 24h hand was at 4 on the dial - 8 on the bezel. By noon, the 24h hand was somewhere around 14-15. By 8pm, the 24h hand was nearing 24(12 on the dial). The normal hour and minute hands seem to be working correctly.

Doing crazy things like this to your body can lead to very serious medical conditions including but not limited to kidney failure and heart attack. Being someone who will play at modding, I would go for thinner because a repaint will make the numerals look slightly larger. You can't make the fat fonts get any smaller.

I tried canon and ended up going with nikon. I find the controls are more intuitive, and low light performance (in the consumer DSLRs) is better. I also like the Nikon AF and flash systems better. Even though the big white pro lenses were calling my name, the nikon glass is just as good and there are more options to chose from. I can use pretty much any lens nikon has ever made on my D80. Also going to agree with the lens being a significant factor.

I've bought several from the apple store and best buy. Purchased them with extra ram and they simply put it in right there.
