  1. Now all we need from TC is a SeaDweller and we can call it a day
  2. I do not have a press, so I have to figure a way to do things and not to damage anything like pressing the crystal, I used pliers and a piece of leather that way it protects the case and ring from damage.
  3. they do fit, check my post I have a picture with the gen insert is hard to get it in but it does fit, perfectly
  4. I Finally got the Insert to pop in and it fits like a glow no modification required at all, is tricky to install but once you get the hang of it is easy, it almost all fits all the way and for the last mile I used a plastic tab which harder than my finger to press down on edge and it just snaps in. now to install the date-wheel and the rest. stay tuned
  5. Brother. I have no idea I have a MBW 1665 that i can push a Gen insert with my hands, but maybe the modern submariner is different. I eas that by TC and I do not have a press, I almost got it in using my hands, but is really hard so i stop trying. I was afraid to damage the Insert.
  6. Tc confirmed that it fits, but you need to use a press to make sit in place, is impossible to do this by hand
  7. Have you tried to fit a Gen insert in the TC bezel, I juts received my case from TC and the Gen Insert will not unless I sanded down the outer diameter, and curious if your can house a gen insert without modifications.
  8. I meant that it will pop in the bezel , I get it in more than half way but then it looks like it will bend if I keep pressing, I do not want to damage it.
  9. here a cut from TC thread part two, see the part where he says that the bezel takes Gen insert!!! Now I confirm that TC Submariner watchcase fits the description of "taking gen parts". It can 1. house gen 3135 movement, and gen dial flushes into the watchcase opening without any modifcation. 2. take gen 2.5 mm gasket and gen 25-295-c crystal and the magnification still reads at 2.5x. 3. TC Sub's tube takes gen crown with no problem. 4. bezel assembly takes gen bezel insert. 5. take gen caseback. 6. TC Sub's crown position is identical to gen. and
  10. Then is a big Issue I was under the impression that a gen will according to TC's post I just looked at this thread. in my opinion looks like the insert need sanding of the outer diameter and I will not want to do that as it will render the insert useless to be put in a Gen Watch. I know that BK TW does take gen insert
  11. The OP on that post did not measured the bezel inner lip or tried to install a Gen insert
  12. Well I can not tell for sure does anyone knows the diameter of the bezel?
  13. here is a picture of the crystal and the insert together is goes fine over the crystal. I am thinking that the bezel is too small, which is big NO here.....
  14. I see what you the SD crystal is smaller in diameter? Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express
  15. The crystal is for a submariner for sure, but the outer diameter of the insert is too big for the bezel Sent from my SGH-i917 using Board Express
  16. I am checking with my source to confirm that in fact is for a Submariner and not SD
  17. My order came today and I snap some pictures for you to see, I order everything execept the crytsal (planing on getting a Gen one, but TC sent one for free if I do a review of the crystal to which I agree ), bracelet (waiting for better version) and insert (have a gen one) I tried to install the Gen insert and to my surprise it does not fit at all, I wonder if my insert is for a Seadweller; I will make time next week to this Baby together. on to the pictures
  18. Good news and get well.
  19. I think they need to make an endlink that is wider and we can adjust it by sanding the sides. That way we make sure that is a tight fit
  20. No worries, sometimes I strugle myself I am a native Spanish speaker
  21. Tribal, I think you mean push in not pull. as you want the valve to look recessed.
  22. The end links still needs some work,
  23. Picture please specially of the endlinks
  24. Guys, please keep the details to yourself. Is better
