so the genuine GMT hand will fit an ETA 2893-2 correct, the only problem I see even using an H5 tall wheel is that the hand is still to close to the dial.
I found this on ebay and the guy selling is a local guy, so I can meet him in person top actually look a the watch. Can you guys tell what you think about this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261053785857&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
talking about taps, I have a 1655 case that I am turning into a 1675 and tube broke inside the case, can I use a tap and if so which tap number and where to get one. thanks
Today Wearing this, the dial markers are falling off, I left it under the sun for 4 days to see what effect it will have on the dial. Now I know. I guess it need to do a trip tp The Zigmeister's shop. I want the dia to have a lot of patina..
the tube is too small but if you used something called liquid metal some kind on metal epoxy fill the thread let it dry and re tap it will fit like a glove.
this exactly what I need it, I have been looking at your posts over and over to find how you get the CG look closer to the Gen CG, Also in this picture on #1 you moved the crown closer to the case and they you retap the whole, which number of tap you used.
Thanks
Thanks a lot, I will wait for them. That is what I want to see. the crown guard area. I have been looking a t Gen pictures and I think that the Gen case have more material on that area
