@Mercury, @Hike --> yes...picked up in Singapore somewhere between 2000-2002....quartz.........R here's a thread to some info and addtional pix...My Breitling Emergency rep

nice work, Hike!... a classic beauty...R

psst...didn't get you wrong, Toad...was just joking that this isn't a highly accurate rep...i didn't realize these were not being made anymore...this is a nice looking piece -- but obviously the digital displays are standard timex versions... and you are right, the logo and the dial sunburst is cool with the darkened brushed casing... R-
-
thanks S... wtf?!?!...this isn't a high rep version... this has got to be one of my heaviest reps...a tank!... and the darkened brushed ss is sweet -- i assume it tries to replicate titanium, but its a dead giveaway when my arm is dragging on the ground... R-
-
after a quick photoshoot this morning for the "early rep" thread, this is on my wrist -- until my arm gives out!... Have a great week everyone!... R-

there's a post in the General Discussions forum on early reps...i thought it would be fun to post this in the Breitling forum for those Breit fans... this is one of my first reps, Breitling Emergency (kinda/sorta) -- from one of my trips to Singapore...and quite honestly, i can't recall the year...somewhere around 2000-2002, i think?!... this is one hunk of metal...but seriously, a nice darkened color brushed ss bracelet/case...the bracelet clasp has a raised wings logo, too...sunburst blue dial... i believe the logo is the Breitling Jet Team, but i'm not sure?!...7 jets in the logo... anyhow -- enjoy the pix... wondering if there's ideas out there on how to tone down the sheen of a standard dealer pvd PAM -- which as you all know, is not bead-blasted?...thinkin it would be cool to age/distress it -- if that can be done thru some chemical kinda process... any ideas on dulling the sheen and/or aging/distressing welcome... thanks... heyyyy...congrats to you and the Mrs!... ummmmmm....shouldn't you be a bit "busy" and not on-line?!?!?... R-

fantastic pix!... i don't have one........... yet... R-

i, too, have this watch...it's amazing quality - build and looks...thick crystal, very detailed dial...fantastic double AR...the watch is thick/beasty -- but one of the best looking divers IMO... check any of the dealers -- shop for price/service...i have to assume that there's only one factory - so all dealers have the same watch... i got mine thru a member trade... nice work, R...great idea... a couple points to add if you don't mind... sellers: 1) if you think it's a defect, imperfection, quirkiness - then it probably is...disclose it... 2) in CONUS and if you ship USPS, pay the extra cents and get "delivery confirmation"...and ship 1st class - it doesn't cost that much...we all hate the wait for watches -- so keep that in mind and get the watch there as fast as you can - within reason... buyers: 1) make sure you understand that a used watch can have surface scratches, swirls, deskdives, etc...and when viewing macro pictures understand that they appear much larger than they really are... 2) "pm sent" or "mine!" added as a reply in the sales thread does not automatically mean it's yours...many members give preference to repeat buyers, supporter and platinum members...understand this...yes - it can be frustrating, but that's how it can work... buyers/sellers: 1) enjoy the trade areas!...many good finds, and mostly "seen" quality control...many of the "dealers" drop-ship watches -- so it's safe to say that its likely the watch has not been checked for defects - cosmetic or operational...with the trade area you have the chance to not only "see" pix, but to discuss with the seller anything you want about the exact watch you are buying... 2) keep track of who you buy/trade/sell to...as time goes by, it's great to have repeat trading partners...and some will become good friends... 3) make a copy of the sales thread for future reference...sometimes pix are taken down, etc...i always make a copy of the sales threads by printing to a pdf file...(if you don't know how to do this with windows computers, go to download.com and find "cutepdf" - it works great... @Strat --> exactly... both these models have the same casing as their more expensive counterparts...and from the looks of it, the rubber strap/deployment and the ss bracelet are the same...the ss bracelet's deployment is etched -- some of the new ones are now engraved... i bought the ss one to see how i would like it and how it would fit...the rubber followed b/c they are excellent values and fit/wear great...not worried in "getting called out on it"...no one in my circle of existence know what the heck these ROOs are?!... thanks for sharin, Lani... beautiful flowers -- and nice Slevin...a good choice... R-

thanks, guys!... as Toad says, the subdial at 6 is really something very small to discern...unless the watch needs servicing or something, i'll probably just let it go... someone told me that if you haven't had a watch with this type of acrylic domed crystal you won't appreciate how cool it really looks...it really is a nice piece...the uniformity of the dial, the blue hands and the polished ss bezel with black lettering/numbering gives this watch different looks depending on the wrist angle and the lighting... pysched, i am!...R
-
thanks, guys!... @red --> the dial is a silvery white...and the acrylic crystal really sets it all off nicely... an oldie, but goodie!... R-
-
we hear ya!... R-
