  1. Apparently green tea helps lose weight, according to my Doctor. I'm trying to drink 4-5 cups a days starting yesterday and see if it works. I've been injured for 4 months now and not allowed to do exercise so I've been piling on weight. I must be clinically obese by now I really wanna play basketball and football
  2. Wish I could, and I have to say there are some very pretty German girls (can anyone introduce me to a few?)... can't add those kinda pics... I'm at work
  3. Interesting... Josh has also dropped the price of the other version... I guess someone with a good relationship with Josh could ask him about the differences between the two versions... All I see are blued screws, but haven't really looked yet... gotta work
  4. Angus says it's titanium
  5. Is it just me, or is every high-priced new rep "made from a genuine watch as sample" ?
  6. I've looked at the post, and just to summarize, the weak points were: -crooked dial markers and dust (possibly from lume or glue on the markers); -poor rep strap/possible lugholes incorrect position - biggest tell it is not genuine; -sticker on caseback of "Top Gun" much like the Cousteau's wood; -case-side engraving of "Top Gun" (but quite well done?).
  7. Yes, I know, that's why I wanted a 2nd caseback... I would personally prefer it *all* PVD, but have the SS one around if I want it to look more genuine
  8. I replied to opcrown (i think) but have had no reply The chieftang cyclops works on other models, but on this one you need the sssurfer one. I think this one had a double cyclops.
  9. I asked last week... I sent an email with this specific post of his, so fingers crossed I need this one to fit a Jimmy case. I think V made this particular watch with a "B" caseback a few years ago, perhaps that is still accurate too ? I tried finding a 027/028 caseback as well so I could have one PVD'd and one not PVD'd, but had no luck either
  10. Agreed. I gotta get hold of a cyclops and datewheel though!
  11. Does anyone have any idea of getting just the caseback of this ? http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=81707 Thanks!
  12. Is that to compete with this new one's price or an admission that the new one is better, so old stock gets sold? I would guess perhaps only the Borg Collective have access to this new version for now... and Angus is putting up a competitive price.
  13. LOL ! You're right! Or keep it, if for some reason the original has to be put back together (eg. service with a watchmaker who won't touch reps) ?
  14. Congrats J, I wish you all the best with it. If you ever need help, a friend of mine does clinical hypnosis to help people quit smoking. Hopefully you'll be fine by yourself As for anyone who has an increased appetite, I always find I'm not so hungry after working out or playing sport... or substitute it by drinking lots of water. That fills up your stomach and sates your hunger for a while.
  15. Hi, I don't really want to install SQL Server on my PC at work, so was wondering if there is an alternative way of getting MS SQL Query Analyzer or anything similar? I need to run some statements through there and view the results so I can amend some Crystal Reports that someone else screwed up. For some reason, the temporary table is not being created in the usual place (perhaps it's deleted automatically), and I don't really want to use Excel's Get External Data as that is a lot slower... Thanks!
  16. Crazy.... just hyperinflate and they'll be worthless
  17. Congrats to Germany. I didn't expect much of the England team... no Liverpool players there that I could think of so what did they expect ? It's also great to see such diversity in the German team now... the star is of Turkish origin, those of Ghanaian, Tunisian, Iranian, Jewish (I think) as well as German origins... reflects more of how Germany is these days ... and middle finger up to the Nazis Anyway, football-wise, Germany looks to have a bright future... I feel that the national team hit their peak in 1996, and only through force of will, have remained competitive. None of the recent teams match upto 1974, 1990, 1996, etc.
  18. Every movement requires servicing every 3-5 years (please see The Zigmeister's posts, and ask your local AD). The problem with reps is, no one knows when the movement was serviced! If money is no object, get them serviced straight away...
  19. Don't bother calling, then it looks like it's a valuable package!
  20. Look a few posts up, the strap is from Strapluxe.
  21. I think you're right on that note. What do you do with the case of the watch the V72 comes from ? I don't think I could just throw it out. I'm tempted to just get the 7750 version but I've come this far in locating the parts... just looking for genuine pushers now.
