It looks quite good... slightly worried about the caseback engraving and how fine the 'background' engravings (fine engravings around the three persons on the caseback) are... they seem slightly rougher than of the genuine version. Also the 10 and 11 on the dial seems slightly different from the gen. Anyone else see some flaws?

the caseback showed was of the previous model and appears to be changed with the larger 42mm Pilot Chrono... hope the makers will see this and change the caseback!

Oops... by mistake I think though that an AR coating would suit this watch very well... and maybe a genuine gator strap + deployant... Gator strap you can get from The Watch Boys @Euno... nice... it's got a vintage look now and looks like a marriage watch made from a pocket watch!

Great mods on the watch... although i have no idea why you would laquere the dial with transparant paint...?

1. Pretty sure the answer is yes 2. No problem with the the hands touching the crystal on the FA Jones i got for my father... it been running fine for over a year now and it's the with dial & blue hands version.

Are you kidding? This is the newest model so vintage lume would completely wrong.. a gen SD has quite strong green colored lume (SL).

Not really my cup of tea as i'm not a huge Breitling fan... but i am impressed with the watch and the strap matches very nicely!!

Guess i'll wait for the steel bracelet... if that ever shows up

EXCELLENT review!! Very impressive... except your photographic skill The watch could visually be modded but there are some parts that can't be modded and those wory me: - rehaut - dialprint - etched corwn - and the biggest not possible to modd... is the bracelet feel But the rust after diving is simply shocking. Personally i wouldn't call this a good deal for the money. A $250 Invicta submariner would not rust... this one does and it is really shocking. Guess i'm gonna pass on this one. Maybe they'll produce a pre 2004 model (with lugholes and without etched crown) that is made of real 316L stainless steel... Thanx again for this excellent review... and look on your camera for a macro setting so you can make nice close ups

What do you mean by 'latest version'? This was repped over a year ago and has some flaws like a slightly too small diameter of the bezel and a different bezel construction. Unfortunately it was never released in titanium (the rep i mean)
