Typically the A7750 may not have the markings as the Swiss ones do, but have you come across some A7750 with full Swiss markings as well as "Breitling" logos on the rotor? How do you spot the real Swiss ETA7750 25J movement from those Asian copies?
Thanks!

Just curious. Does anyone know if a gen bezel for SA will fit on the rep Skyland? Thanks!
-
Thanks for sharing. Congrats!
I started with a Seiko SQ

If I were you, I'd wait to see how your Skyland performs. I don't own many reps, but most of them are 2824/2836 movements. Just like you said, they are less complicated movement for servicing. If the Skyland movement fails, I'd spend $350-400 and buy a Swiss 7750 (25J) movement and drop in there. Good luck!
-
I don't have too much faith in A7750 because it's indeed a complicate movement. If I were you, I swap out the movement with a Swiss one. It cost more $$, but if you wear this watch a lot, this may be the way to go.

Homer's 44mm Marina... for Sunday maybe.

More links at 12 o'clock and less at 6 o'clock
Look at a few pictures of watches with straps or, the way a band looks off of a watch. It helps keep the watch on your wrist and not at your palm!
Cheers~

Ok, great! Looks like all these time, I have done incorrectly then
Thanks for your help!

Please excuse me for this dumb question.
I think I am one of the typical size guy with typical wrist size. When I size my watch bracelets, one side of the buckle always has one link more than the other side (so the buckle is not perfectly centered to the watch). It seems the extra link on either side will work, but
My question is:
Which side is better? I am curious what you know. Should the extra link be put on the side closer to you or away from you (when you read time)?
Thanks!

I could never guessed they would secretly work together. The watch is absolutely beautiful by the way. I have a blue dial version.
-
Mine looks like this. The watch works like a charm... now I know the secret behind all this...
-
I just bought a Breitling Skyland (perhaps v3). I'm thinking it would be kinda nice to wear it while flying...
-
Sweet! Thanks! Do you need to file E29B document to make sure they know that I didn't just buy the watch from either country. I certainly don't want to get taxed on it neither

Hi there,
I am planning on a trip to Canada this summer. Just wondering if someone can give me some detailed instructions what I need to do / what would happen to me if I wear a rep for the entire trip. What about the sterile "homages" (like homer's or vac's MM homages)?
Thanks!

I am currently in a dilemma of choosing between a 2 pams a pvd destro 217 or a ultimate fiddy (both from dsn). I have read some good reviews of dsn s pvd. however i m tempted to go for a fiddy and get it dlced. pls let me know who offers the dlc service and how much i need to expect to pay for this.
thanx
DLC is better, but it will cost you 300 to 600 dollars (for getting your watch dlced).

Is that a Tag crown?
No, it's a Sandoz OEM crown.
-
I worn this one on this Thursday. I probably will wear it on Friday as well.
-
I just got this one back from my watchmaker. Except for the dial and hands (they are MKII brand), the rest of the watch head is Sandoz (Singapore).
I first though it might not work... but I went forth anyway. The actual watch looks better than shown in pictures.
Enjoy!

Looks like some one on ebay is selling a rep RXW as gen...

You are right. This one is not my RXW. My RXW is this one below. The picture posted above is my flat case vintage MM with all DSN parts.
-
This is my DSN sterile.
-
Hmm...
Did you happen to notice the movement in this picture by pbdad? It's a shot of the parts from his small Egi from DSN...
Where can we get a rep movement like that? I like it!

recently bought a similar 233 locally here in Asia.
Scratched my crystal within 1 day of using it! Aargh! Looks like it's not sapphire crystal after all.
Notice my dial - no day/night indicator and the crystal has a purple/blue hue
Mine does not have as heavy purple/blue hue as yours. Also you are right about the dial, ours are different. I wonder if mine is the second generation of yours or just simply from different makers. After a week of wearing, the crystal still has not gotten scratched yet.
-
A great deal indeed! And yes, 24mm
Do the lugs have enough length that I can mount a 5mm custom strap without getting scratched by the case?
-
Just bought two yesterday. One black dial and one white dial. Can't wait to receive mine!
I even have the H3 CP ready to be installed.
How can you tell a gen Swiss ETA 7750 from A7750?
in The Breitling Area

I kind of found the answer for my own question on WUS.
"Visually, the only way to tell them apart is the shape of the spokes of the balance wheel. The Chinese 7750 has four straight spokes, the ETA has three spoke that flair at the rim."
Any thoughts?
