The Maxi Marine rubber also has a 3 position micro-adjustment you can make. You should probably size it big (err on the big side), and if need be, micro-adjust smaller. Cutting it. Some people mouse around with a razor blade. When I cut these style straps, I use a "professional" Chef or Sushi knife in one press downward guillotine style (hand on handle and hand on top of blade for consistent leverage). The weight and sharpness makes for a quick/clean cut. I stress professional knife. This is similar to what I used on my Ocean Racer (same concept). If you screw it up, let me know, I have a "Bracelet" if you want to ditch the rubber.

@Freddy333, how does the adding machine/calculator factor in to watch repair.

Personally, I find the "standard rep AR" too blue. The modern gens have what appears to be a really good quality single AR. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Just my opinion, but, I would tend to say go NO AR or go Chief AR. I Cheif AR'd my 112h and 177h, and the pure clarity, almost impossibly to see dk purple/brownish AR IMHO makes it appear more plausibly gen. This is based on the quality the crystal takes on. If someone is going to call me out for "too good / better than gen AR", then they are probably a member here and better say so.
