  1. Finally my DRSD is off my wrist, I'm wearing back my PO for the next few days. Sorry, no wrist shots pics of my PO taken yet.
  2. It's almost 3.00pm for me here, but 3.00am for quite a number of you guys!! Don't you ever need any sleep?
  3. After reading Stephane's near miss with his broken riveted bracelet, I'm beginning to have doubt on my DRSD's riveted bracelet. How strong is the riveted bracelet under constant daily wear? Anyone here has worn their vintage toys with riveted bracelet daily for a long time?
  4. Stil can't get this off my wrist...
  5. I own reps as well as gens, but always prefer reps on my wrist. The reason being that I do not have to worry about losing my reps. And do not have to worry about banging my reps on doors. Though sometimes, I wish the quality of reps could be more consistent, I still love reps...
  6. I'll be wearing this new toy for the next few days.
  7. Will be wearing this for the next few days.
  8. It's a long holiday weekend here in my country. And this will be my watch...
  9. 42mm Planet Ocean Black - $3,700 Speedmaster Moonwatch - $3,300 Vintage Rollies DRSD - $12,000 Seamaster Aqua Terra white dial - $3,000 Total = $22k
  10. Today I'm wearing my new vintage DRSD.
  11. In Malaysia, Rolex = Lolek. Sometimes also referred as Kam Lo ( literal translation in Cantonese for gold ro(lex) ).
  12. Mine is all Omega theme,... used to have over 25 reps with maybe most of them rollies, PAMs, and IWCs. Sold them all, now only Speedy and PO.
  13. Probably the cheapest "war watches" around....
  14. Like TWP, my collection was on quantity over quality. I had more than 25 rep watches at one time, including some craps I bought at Chinatown. However, I've since parred down my collection to only 3 watches now - one Omega Speedy, one PO and another gen Seiko, all which I consider good on quality compared to what I used to have. And I'm quite happy now....
  15. So far, all my reps stops after 3 or 4 days (at most 5 days) after I fully wind it and wear it during day time office hours. As I only wear my watch for about 8 hours a day and I work in the office in front of my notebook most of the time, I guess the lack of wrist movement caused the watch to stop. All my reps are with Asian 21j movement. However, I do not face similar this kind of problem with my Seikos with 7s26 movement. Looks like 7s26 winds easier than our Asian 21j movement. Anyone having similar situation/problem with their reps. Or perhaps it's not a problems with all my reps, likely it's my little wrist movement during daytime.
  16. How about this...
  17. I'm thinking to letting go one Seiko of the 2 Seikos that I have, to get another new rep. Which one would you keep, and which one to let go? Seiko SNX427 SNKE61
  18. Friday Saturday and Sunday
  19. Seiko today...
  20. My friend bought his SD from this same guy at Malaysia's auction site, lelong for only RM90 (approximately USD27) including shipping. The delivery is very fast, he got his watch the following day after payment. The seller also communicates well on his email too. But honestly, what you pay is what you get,.... when I compared with my noobmariner, the quality of noobmariner is much better, particularly on the bracelet parts - end links and diver's extension portions. As for the engine, I presume they're the same 21j Asian movement. Nonetheless, for the amount paid, I'd say it's well worth spent. I understand from my friend that his SD is running abt +20 sec/day and has gone thru swimming, mountain climbing, and is still functioning well. Where else you can get one fairly decent SD with that price.
  21. Still the same Explorer 1
  22. I've been wearing this explorer for a while since getting it last month...
  23. Do you remember which store did you buy from? Closer to the cross junction next to the bank or near the entrance gantry?
  24. Perhaps this...
