  1. You better put a roll of quarters in your right pocket to keep you from listing.....Very Nice Judor.
  2. Welcome to Ubi's Corner Just an update.....I don't do reviews After spending a night with my new 7032 Monte CarlUbio, I have decided that I don't plan on doing much to it. The Monte CarlUbio is quite appealing as it is. I will track down a Gen Crystal and I will install Gen springbars today. So far, all I have done is brush the bezel.......and a lot. Tomorrow is my 11th Wedding anniversary. So I will be surprising my wife with this Cartier. It is a Genuine Picked up off the TZ sales corner as a "Needs to be fixed" and " has seen better days". Originally, it had the Gold Plaque over Sterling Silver. My watchmaker serviced the Quartz movement, replaced the crystal(Expensive at $75.00), Rhodium plated the case(My wife doesn't wear gold), replaced the gold crown with a new white gold from Cartier and put it in a really nice box. Hopefully I can get the stem I need to get the Monte Carlo finished so that my wife and I can enjoy our beautiful watches as we head toward the next decades-O-bliss. Wishing everyone a great weekend and Another BIG GIANT THANKS to my good Friend, Ubi.
  3. Heehee....lot of work yet to be done, but it sure is purty huh.
  4. Oh, wait......it's here! Just a tease.... It's gonna be a good weekend
  5. I always wear a watch when I golf......heck, I always wear a watch. Never had an issue rep or otherwise. Unless you are a hack, a good golf swing doesn't impart a lot of impact to the hands/wrists. I used to be a 4hdcp, and when you make a pure golf swing, impact can't even be felt. I always said a good swing felt better than sex.....then I found a woman that made me change my mind Play on......
  6. J, That watch is going to look ridiculously large on your arm. You better send it up to the hills of TN where I can dispose of that "Freaky Big" thing appropriately You my friend may as well open a Tudor Boutique down South. Love your creations.....your are the "Tudornator"
  7. Prayer....it's what's for breakfast........Get some! Glad we have a happy ending to this one. Continued Blessings my friend.
  8. I wish. If I did, my cash flow issues would improve and Uncle Sam would get paid. Of course, you would get first shot :-)
  9. patinga is a good guy. And to those concerned, I tried to procure this crystal for MY 7032 coming from Ubi and guess what.......Rolex put the kibosh on my watchmaker's parts order. So, now calling it scarce or rare might be accurate. The time energy, legwork and even the favors called in account for much of the asking price for some of these not so readily available parts. I am hoping my watch guy can find an associate that has one in stock for me.
  10. Camcel all memberships to forums like this one, poke out your eyes so as not to notice any other watches and enjoy your "new" watch.
  11. Not as neat as what is soon to be........ However, I will say that the Bulova 11BLACD is a very nice movement.
  12. I think Bulova had Them beat I am putting together a list of items for sale and threw this beast together for shits and giggles. Keep an eye on the sales forum for a Gen with 7750, A Gen PVD diver and a few other interesting watches.
  13. J, here is a shot of the Gen I had: BTW, you need to reset your Tachy bezel. Tip: The 120 should be dead nuts at 6 o'clock.
  14. Still wearing my Franken 'Nimo. If you haven't considered these, you should. Very comfortable, nice size and very accurate to Gen. I have added an ETA 2824 (As Gen) and Gen Screw bars(Very tricky). It has been tested to over 100m so good for swimming. Have a great HumpDay!
  15. Looks about right to me. Remember, the distance betwteen the dial and crystal makes a diff.
  16. WTF? Some lucky bastard has a Ubi 5517 and now he's getting this? Love it! BTW, Your parts have been ordered.
  17. Still palying around with this one: I highly recommend this Rep as it is very accurate. All you have to do is drop a 2824 in and it is identical to the Gen. Have a great weekend, Kurt
  18. Rolex-Tudor part number 25-125 Clark's has a replacement available.
  19. Would a Tudor Crystal work? Since it uses ETA movements perhaps it would be positioned correctly. Thank me later....:-)
  20. That would make a cool Tat! Very talented....thanks for sharing.
