  1. Send it me and I'll fix it for you.
  2. I'll save you the search: Have fun........
  3. Do a search and you will find the 5512 Gilt I built using the 1560 out of an Oyster Perpetual from 1963. I used an NDT case and a gilt handset that Zig lumed along with the dial. Nice original piecw as is.
  4. Send me an email at kurts@payrollrx.com Perhaps I can help. If they don't have holes yet, I'm not your guy. But if they have holes and you need them drilled for 2mm bars, I am your guy and happy to help. Kurt
  5. The original is a double Gilt. Gold gilt for the verbage except Silver Gilt for the "Space Dweller" Nice repro...bro.
  6. Figures.....my life's in the crapper and you're pulling Rolexes out of the dump.....ain't life grand
  7. Dammit man.......what's on the bag?
  8. Thanks Red, I'll snap a few this weekend. As for the timer, it is my watchmaker's. He let's me take it from time to Time (get it?). He calls it his POS and said it doesn't compare to his REAL machine. But he said that for timing Chinese watches.....you can't beat(Another one) it. Enjoy your weekend.
  9. Are you referring to the fit of the beze/insert onto the compression ring and over the brass washer? if this is loose, you can try to bend the bezel inward....kinda rolling the edge to tighten the circumfrence.....or you can have someone here make you the correct size rin and eliminate the nylon washer and loose fit......maybe someone who has done this before.
  10. His Generosity is quality too? Old school AP Royal Oak with hard to find dial: Keeping time at +3/+7 secs/day. It is a treasure to me and on my wrist often. Thank you Ubi. You are a true friend.....Quality through and through.
  11. The Gen assembly has no white nylon gasket.....nor do the MBW's. The metal compression ring that the bezel snaps onto is too big. That is why they use the nylon gasket. A gen crystal will not help. Advice: install the crystal with some GS crystal cement, install the white nylon gasket, install the compression ring, install the brass friction washer and then snap the bezel in place. I wouldn't swim with it though. Nice looking watch for the price.
  12. Pure class my friend. Your father should be very proud young man.
  13. Thought I had lost this one long ago. One of the best Seiko's IMHO!
  14. My Friday wear compliments of my watchmaker.....
  15. No dates.....reminds me of my teen years thru high school.....no dates. Anywho, it's a shame you wasted all your creativity on my 5517 then had to muddle through the rest ;-) Need it be said? Awesome, incredible and expected.
  16. Dauphine hands for sure.
  17. Kickin' it Real Olde School with a gift from Ubi.......Thanks R!
  18. Pffff, it's O.K.,.....I guess

  20. J, Very nice result. It looks like it should and a nice Black Gator/crock strap would make this one Killa! Wear it in good health my friend.
  21. Hmm.....that might look good on my Dweller project...;-)
  22. Here are some pics of a Gen straight hand. This belongs to a friend's dad and he beats the snot outta it daily: I personally like Josh's watch and would love to have one. BTW, the 24hr markers are square. They just look rectangular because of the closeness to the rehaut.
  23. Wow! looks great J.
  24. hxxp://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=5157016&rid=0 Posted on Timezone but I don't expect any of those elitist to reply. Anyone here familiar with the value of Schwob Frere Chaux de Fonds Minute repeater? Replace the xx's with tt's
  25. Cool? No, not cool. I don't see any of these watches in "My" watchbox :-) Nice feature and great "heads up" Ubi.
