  1. PBS has a fantastic series on the National parks available right now. The episode featuring Yosemite had much to say concerning the flooding of this amazing place. Sad, very sad. Reminds me of the tale of Glen Canyon Dam in Utah, flooded to create Lake Powell, a primary water source for all of southern California. By flooding Glen Canyon the feds wiped out more history and beauty then it will ever preserve. The trade off is water. A good deal? Thanks for the photos.
  2. The nicest watch pictured in this thread is the 2254.50 Omega 300 Pro. IMO.

    OK WTF?

Your too good for this...competition. Quality, NOT quantity.
  4. Owning only ONE watch? Impossible. Wearing only ONE watch? I don't think so.
  5. Gotta bump this thread. The vintage 300 is a beautiful watch akin to some of the earliest divers like the Fifty Fathoms. The case bezel, dial, and hands are truly distinctive, and reflect the state of the art for the early diver design. Congrats, wear it well. I too think that the Omega Seamaster 300's..vintage...2254. or PO, are the most handsome of all the swiss divers...regardless of price. FWIW.
  6. Is the club Paridiso still there? Amsterdam is the best. Go to Harlem...flowers even in the fall.
  7. Lots of nice watches here this weekend. My 2254.50 on rubber.
  8. The perfect replica must have all the details of the gen????. Duplicating the etched counterfit proof mark is a no brainer. Is this concept a joke? Who cares? A perfect rep will never be a gen.
  9. Bump. Can't believe I missed this one, Beautiful photos as usual. Let's see a few photos of your 2254.
  10. Interesting. I bought NO rep watches in 2009. Only one I should have gotten was the vintage Blancpain FF 95. Maybe 2010.
  11. Check out all the OEM straps for sale on Paneraisti. Great deals. There are MANY sellers of great Pam straps on the Official Pam sites. I have an original Marco Paci that I paid 25% of the original offered price for. Best bet.
  12. Bump. What a great thread. Beautiful photography.
  13. 3717 all the way. Top Gun looks way thick. Beautiful watches.
  14. Your vintage SeaMaster 300 is nice. Tell us about it.
  15. Very, very nice. Thanks for the nice photos.
  16. Wow, this is a tough crowd. Beautiful photos, every one.
  17. These are beautiful reps. The FF95 is my favorite of the lot. They are all nice. The strap possibilities are endless. Vintage reps at their best.
  18. Bump. Some nice watches shown in this thread. Wearing them well.
  19. I too, have about twenty watches in my collection. I go in spurts as to how many different watches I will wear over a given period of time, it vary's, but lets say 15 of the 20 never get worn. Doubt I'll sell more than a few, if ever. What has driven the engine for me these last years is pretty much opposite of DH's situation. I always purchased sport watches and ss bands. Over the years I have changed all the straps on my favorite watches to rubber. I never (almost never) wear dress shirts and cuff. I find that on all the divers that I wear most regularly, I much prefer the feel and comfort of a rubber strap and ss deployment. These last weeks the 2254. Talk about a tool watch. Only real 'dress' watch I ever wear anymore is my Nautilus...thin to win. A ss band like 'butter'. Nice thread. Great hobby. Great Forum.
