A recent post concerning comfort of rubber straps led me to this post. Rubber straps made to fit specific lug size and case design with deployment clasps are super efficient, light weight, and close the deal on a dive watch. I currently own 5 variations on the theme. ALL are comfortable. PAM 112, PP Aquanaut, Omega 300 SeaMaster Pro, Black Monster Seiko, and the BSO Heritage. All different straps, and clasps, all work well. SeaMaster Pro - Oem strap and deployment Ocean racer and deployment on Heritage Custom rubber oyster and deployment on Monster I purchased all these watches with SS bracelets, and over period of time all have gone to full time rubber. Anybody else out there into the rubber/deployments? Thanks for looking.

Beautiful modding work. Gen parts work. The 2254.50 is my fave these days. I love this watch on the OEM rubber strap. Thanks for the great post. Great job.

Very nice vintage piece. Very Nice. Seamasters...yea!

Rubber straps are IMO the most comfortable of all straps, leather, ss, etc. The OEM clasp and strap are SUPER comfortable. Similar in feel and size to the Breitling Ocean Racer rubber strap and SS deployment. attachment Really easy to wear. All day.

My 2254.50 SeaMaster Pro A few shots of the Case back,OEM rubber bracelet ,and SS Deployment. I love the wave pattern in the dial, AND the case back, AND the inside of the rubber strap. The 'WAVE' rules. This combination of case size (41mm) and rubber strap MAKES the Pro. IMO The obligatory wrist shot. A classic watch. No longer available from Omega. Go figure. A 'Grail' sports/diver. Thanks for looking.

Not the greatest photo... but still my favorite wrist shot because it is such a beautiful watch. My Seamaster Pro 2254.50

Wow. Nice. But no SeaMaster Pro 2254.50 for you guys? Grail piece IMO.

There is a mid size SMP. I think it is 37/38mm. Size does matter.

I have been around awhile. The smaller community of the early years on TRC, made for a more lively Forum. Plus it seems to me that although the quality of the rep watch has increased dramatically over the past 5 years or so, the fun, used to be as much in the hunt to find one's favorite pieces from some elusive dealer, or to have established a relationship with a guy like Eddie. Pams had just been discovered after all. Look where that took us. 20,000 members in any forum will dilute the participation of MOST members and highlight the able contributions of the more eloquent. And when it comes to contributions...well some of us just have LESS to offer than others. Pug, By-Tor, The Zigmeister, Ubi and others here, offer way more to this community, as indicated in their post counts, then a guy like me that is just along for the ride. Whether or not I get involved in most threads has more to do with what other members are involved in the thread. Not being a great photographer, a great modder, or the greatest public speaker, I often feel as though my contribution is minimal. I continue to be a platinum supporter more as a supporter of this great forum, than as an active contributor of any value. I will leave that up to our resident experts. Seen em come and seen em go.

Sidewalk/Subway Art!!!!! I was recently on Michigan Ave. in Chicago, There were quite a few musicians on the street... but only ONE made me stop and listen. Pretty much you only care for what appeals to you, good or bad. What appealed to me that day was a young guy with an acoustic guitar who ripped it. I have recently discovered a NEW resource. It ENHANCES perception as well as appreciation. Association. It is a revelation. Brilliant. Go to YOU TUBE. Search..... JK Wedding 5:03 min Video Watch it. Joyus.... but what is cool is the music.... A connection I would have NEVER made. This young artist rocks. Listen. Try it...you will like it.

I remember when 'Wifey' and her PAM were first viewed on RWG1. She was a 'Head ' of her time then..and still is.

Question about which shoes and socks are appropriate?
jeff g replied to fool2's topic in Style and looks
So then, gentleman/ladies........ WE are ALL in agreement. Loafers/Sandles - NO socks.....ALL conditions. Thank you. -
do you coordinate your watch and cufflinks when wearing french cuffs
jeff g replied to prince458's topic in Style and looks
With ANY cuffed shirt the only logical solution is THINNNNNNNNNNNNN. Cartier Tank Francias...Patek Nautilus Jumbo 7mm to 9mm. Thin alligator or SS. Thin to win. I find it annoying when the watch I am wearing will not fit under the cuff. Obviously.
