  1. Funny, I never wore a watch much when I was a kid. Perhaps a Timex cheapo. In the service I wore a service watch..when I had to. For most of my entire adult life I NEVER wore a watch, but for most of my life I have loved beautiful watches. Every chance I had when travelling, I would seek out the best shops, and go look at watches. My wife still thinks I am nuts. Don't wear a watch, but look at them everywhere I go. Then I found replica's. Now I have 20 (+) reps, but funny thing, for the most part they all look the same. Black dial sport watches. Each of course is different,... and thats the draw. For the most part I mostly wear the Black SMP Pro, but to have the choice of 18 others, is rather nice. Different mood, different watch. Kinda like male jewelry. My lifestyle prohibits wearing complications for the most part. That side of the watch coin would produce another 20 reps I'm sure. So many moods...so many watches.
  2. How about printing the jpeg, scan it, and work to clean in Photoshop.
  3. Me too.
  4. Growing Pains. There is a hard core of members and moderators here, and at TRC, who won't let Admin, or the rest of us down. This forum is solid. Paying to play has always worked for me.
  5. I too read By-Tor's TAG report and ordered a black dial Brushed SS bezel model. It is as a high quality a rep as I have owned. A fantastic watch - at pretty much any price. It has replaced my SMP as my daily beater. So far, I am giving it my 'rep of the year' award. Enjoy yours.
  6. I have only been purchasing reps for three years or so. But the quality of MOST of the mainstream reps these days surpasses the quality of the older reps, by leaps and bounds. Modding has only added to the quality. For 10 to 20% of the cost of most of the genuines, we are able to purchase the BEST for 250.00 to 350.00. For High Quality versions of the Daytonas and a few others the cost jumps up to 500.00 - 800.00. Even at these prices the bargain is tough to beat. NOW is a very good time to be in the rep market. My newer pieces like the PO, and the IWC's and the new generation TAG Links, are unbelievable values for the money. I often think of how interesting it would be to order these same watches without the popular logos. Wonder what a 'Perfect Sub' would go for in eta, if it had no logo on the dial?
  7. Are you sure that you aren't employed by the local Dealers here to write reviews. After reading this one I am ready to purchase the Speedy now. Thanks a lot. Another GREAT review.
  8. This one.
  9. Although tracking is good (Incase of delivery problems) Personally I NEVER check on the tracking. 5 Days, six, ten...relax. It is always so nice when it arrives.

    Site Slow

For me too. Very slow. When first we came up I had no problems. In the past 2 weeks, it has been noticebly slower.
  11. Very nice.

    Omega 007

SMP & 007 - Black bezels I love these watches.
  13. Thanks for the tips. Another great post.
  14. I have the new 7750 movement in my TAG Link chrono and my IWC GST. Both are running perfectly. Losing no seconds/minutes per day (So far) All chronos return to 12. Seems that the 7750 dilema is solving itself.
  15. I was told by Josh to wind the watch after I received it. My stop watch hand stopped at 25, and so did the second hand on the small dial. After winding it 30 or 40 revs, the watch has run perfectly. Watch winder or not, the new 7750 needs to be initally wound manually.
  16. This one.
  17. PM Sent. Josh has great service and shipping as well. His new TAG's are great. The TAG Link is a perfect gift. Nice choice. I am one of the voices singing the praise of this new generation of TAG's. Near perfect dials and really sweet bracelets. Congrats.
  18. I am wearing the new TAG Link Chrono - Black dial brushed SS Bezel The Link case and bracelets are the same in both models. Dial and polished bezel being the only difference. In my opinion these TAG Links are top of the line right now, especially for the cost. Certainly rivaling the quality of the Omega's and many PAM's. I highly recommend these watches.
  19. SMP case and dial size is about perfect for everything in my opinion. SS Sub is on the small side to me. I feel too, as though the Rolli dial on the Explorer I, and TOG, etc.,are too small. The larger watches with 44mm case/bezel like the PAM's wear very well for a larger watch, but above that size, 47 - 48 mm cases like AP ROO, or many of the Breitlings, are just way to large (for me) with a 6.75'' wrist. Of course there are those who LOVE wearing the big oversized Dive watches, 47mm-5mm(+), but honestly when they ride your wrist like an ornament, when is big, too big? For me, dress watches are the only watches I can wear anymore with smaller than a 37mm dial. My newest watch - TAG LINK Chrono is about as nice, size wise, as the Omega SMP's. Try that guy on for size.
  20. My photos will follow, but I wanted to let those interested in this watch, that the TAG Link reps are unbelievable. Remember when the first PAM reps appeared, and how damn nice they were...well these new TAG Links are of the same quality. I ordered and am wearing the new TAG Link Chrono with black dial and brushed SS bezel. It is simply a fantastic watch. Rep or real. I can not say enough good things about the construction and quality of this piece. I hope that my photos will help your opinion, but the photos listed in this post are enough. BUY IT, you'll LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Sorry, no photo yet, but I wanted to add my opinion on the new generation of TAGS. I am wearing my new favorite watch, that I received from Josh. TAG Link Chrono - Black dial - brushed SS bezel. It is without doubt the nicest dial and bracelet out there today. When I can post a few pictures I will give more details. If you have been waiting for some additional good reviews of this watch in order to make a decision to buy, then don't wait any longer. This watch is as good as a rep gets. Period!
  22. Seems as though the US dealers don't last long. We had a few around the forums for awhile. Three that I know of were on board TRC and RWG for a couple of years. ONE really good one. NONE around these days. Heat.
  23. There is NO doubt which is stronger/better/faster, etc... PO is OK but the 'BroadArrow" hands don't do it like the SMP. Could be that the SMP black dial / black bezel is the nicest watch known to man. Even the rep is fantastic.
  24. The quality of this Seiko is outstanding. Bought it to dive with on one of my last vacations. For the money - can't beat it. Try Princeton Watches on the web. Great pricing.
  25. An oldy, but a goody. A6. Bob Dylan said it best, "Nice car to drive...after a war.
