I'm considering getting the case sent off to be PVD coated, so it will be all black, with just the gold numbers and hands on the dial.

OK, a while back I bought a HBB SS/RG "Lite" watch, the problem is that while it looked good in pictures, it just didn't speak to me. Here's a pic of it before I started to mod it: So, the crystal has to get some work done on it, so out it comes and off it goes to chieftang for double AR coating. When it gets back, it's better but I still don't love it. Then on a lark I decide to try out the black ceramic bezel on the watch instead of the gold one. So out comes the H-Screwdriver and 10 minutes later we have this (I think I'm in love): So, what does everyone else think?

Yep, 1:1 ebel, and AP ROO sec's @ 12, Concord C1, Breitling Skyland, Breitling Heritage (improved), Graham Swordfish (improved), lots of good/cool stuff coming up the first half year this year. No news on a big pilot though, maybe by year end.

1:1 version is coming out in the next couple of months, I have it on good authority.

We've had a few of the black dial posted, but none of the white dial, so I thought I'd take a few pics and post them before returning the watch. The overall quality of the watch is immaculate, but the seconds at 3 subdial hand came a bit loose during transit, and the chrono seconds hand in the center is fairly jerky during parts of it's rotation. Josh, as always, is a dream to work with and is replacing it for me. Couple of observations - the lume is outstanding on this watch, rivaling my DSN superlumed PAM's, that was pretty suprising, along with how well and even the lume is applied. And, since it's 24mm wide at the lugs, all my panerai straps fit it, so you can have fun with straps: On the very high quality stock rubber strap: On the Europelli Shell cordovan: Wojtecki Light Brown: Wojtecki Chocolate brown:

So, how can I have no faith despite a true desire to know and love god? My only conclusion is that there either is no god, or that he simply doesn't love/want me. I feel I am calling into the wilderness and the silence from god is deafening.

At 40mm it's clearly a watch designed to appeal to women, and I'd not wear it (most likely), but I'd be very tempted to buy it for my wife.

Yep, love the rubber straps, only 2 of the HBB's I own are in the pic, while the other 2, the RG HBB and the TT HBB aren't, and a have a Graham chronofighter on the way No option on the Porsche, black rubber is all you can get.
