  1. E: I'm still a bit stumped as to the exact source of this case, unfortunately. Regarding the movement, Andy already called it: It's a Sea-Gull ST-19 aka 'Venus' aka 'Lemania'. This is the go-to movement for nearly all hand-wind chronograph duties in the rep world, and a reliable one, too. As for the crown, 703 would be best on the 6263. It's a bit hard to see the current crown in your pictures, but I'll bet you'll see a real improvement with the gen. If not, you'll at least feel the superiority of the gen crown. Dimensions for genuine-spec pushers (e.g. Ofrei, CousinsUK, or Rolex itself): 0.25mm diameter, 0.2 thread pitch.
  2. Thanks, seafoam! Likewise, I love that Re-edition. Did it originally come with that bracelet? B: Whoa...
  3. Lovely Lung, Cube. '69 Carrera to start the week:
  4. For the sake of the time-space continuum, I urge you to reconsider your reckless project. Captain Kirk, Gary Seven, and Agent Max Walker (who?) agree with me.
  5. Seeing that makes me happier than the fat hippie in the "Double Rainbow" video.
  6. Sure. It's item #320746431376.
  7. Yes, and not a particularly good-looking rep. The dial is terrible, and bears a strong resemblance to Yuki's 7032 dial.
  8. I missed this update somehow. Amazing developments, J!
  9. Q.E.D. The 7734 was designed with an eye toward efficiency--faster assembly, lower costs. Visually, it's a mess of plainly-finished, angular plates and bridges, plus a handful of exposed springs that look like untwisted paper clips. As for the V234, well... All the world loves a column wheel.
  10. I prefer the cleaner dial of the 7031/2, but you can see why Tudor reverted to the older V23 movement on the 7159. Just beautiful!
  11. I was honestly going to type this before reading freddy and Jkay's comments, but: That's really something! I hope someone here can take a good look at this movement real soon, and peel back the layers.
  12. Mm... I like the olive-colored lume on the hands and upper dots!
  13. I recently met one little kid who was sobbing inconsolably at the prospect that Ubi might never finish this 1665. His name was coolfire.
  14. I'm not at all an expert on Sub dials, but... Maybe the stepped window is peculiar to the newer service dials?
  15. Nice, woof*! We need to get a much closer look at that dial. Friday Gilt:
  16. Looks really good to me, Valty. As far as I know, the only problematic V72s (as far as fit goes) were the early ones from the 1950s. Your looks like a Daytona contemporary.
  17. Nice one, red! I expect every one of these to be in frankens exactly one year from now. ...and GO!
  18. Bringing out bags of 702s, eh? Well, I hope you brought enough to share with the rest of the class!
