  1. That 061 is absolutely stunning Oncyte!!! That is pure lust
  2. @ Freddy - not sure which one I like more - the Daytona or the Model 7! Nice choice of tube too! Those Sylvania ECC83's do sound quite lovely
  3. The iPhone 4 Antenna repair kit:
  4. Wow what a great review on the new Heritage!! It's looking really amazing. If wonder if they will ever rep the new Tudor line of watches?
  5. That is a real beauty Oncyte!!!! The Titanium tone is really stunning! It really pops out of the screen and just screams "WEAR ME"!!!! Tudor this past week: Datejust for the weekend:
  6. any tips on how to "still find avitt"?
  7. Awesome! Looking forward to it! I especially like the evenness of the light hitting the watch. Even with good daylight lamps and diffusion, I tend to get some highlights that are a little annoying. I would love to see how you light the watch so nicely
  8. That is one heck of an awesome super franken db! Congrats!!!
  9. It would be extremely useful BT!! I, for one, would love to see that. Also, what would be really great is to see the staging of the photo. How you are lighting it, position of things, etc.... I think it would be really helpful for many members here! (Especially me )
  10. If the rep movement makers came up with a different subdial spacing for the A7750, it would be a very interesting new rep world! A correct speedy & daytona would be amazing! I really love your list BT. If they came out with a decent 1675, Monaco, Daytona & Speedy Moon Watch, I would definitely buy them all @Ronin - I love my Datejust. I wear it pretty much every weekend. Jeans, Shorts, Casual, Dressy. Doesn't matter. It's a classic looking watch that is just plain comfortable! If I didn't work in tech during the week, I would wear it everyday, but I really don't want to scratch it up too much.
  11. Definitely love the 50th Anniversary Silver dial.....stole this from a pic on the 'Bay
  12. Wow that was/is a beauty!! What were the mods done to that one? What was the base used for the project?
  13. Nicely put BT! If you like the watch....buy it! Who cares if people think its a fake. I know several people with nice Rollies, AP's, Panerai's, Patek's, etc who don't drive Aston Martins or Ferrari's. Just because someone isn't a formula one car driver, doesn't mean he or she can't appreciate the beauty in a watch like an Audemars Piguet and if they want to spend $20k or more on it (especially if its a good investment), then who's to say they shouldn't. It certainly doesn't mean that its a fake watch! Besides, even if it is a fake watch, if you get enjoyment out of it, then bravo!
  14. i would have a really hard time spending $27k + on a watch bought sight unseen. I cannot believe people would even consider buying it on the 'Bay. Just seems frightening to me. +1 - CG's look really off. Bezel looks odd to me to. Way to "defined" and a little on the sharp side
  15. Thanks BT! Quite an interesting read that! I never knew about the 16700 and it's quite an interesting watch. Also quite like the 16760 "Fat Lady", although it would be nicer with the Pepsi bezel
  16. I'm still waiting for the new 42mm Omega Planet Ocean.
  17. Hey thanks for the responses guys! I think that answers my question! I guess now I need to see if its possible to add the lugholes to a BK Transformer and how difficult it may or may not be. I would really like to be able to use my gen jubilee on this watch
  18. What a beauty! I really like the look of the watch too!!! What does one of these beauties go for?
  19. Anyone?? Help if you can I saw a pic of BT's gen 16710 and I noticed it does have lugholes on it. So it wouldn't be unusual to have lugholes on this one? I know bk's transformer doesn't normally have lugholes, but is it worth it to add some?
  20. I'm thinking about building an interesting Navi project, but I need to know what the dimensions of the dial is in the rep Navi to see if I can swap it with "something different" If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate it!
  21. That is very very cool! I can't even imaging the skills required to hand engrave such a small piece with such detail and precision! Gives one a whole new respect for the work involved in making such a fine timepiece.
  22. Hey Mike - does the Z06 you have use the switchover system on the exhaust to open flow up to the outside pipes after you reach 4k RPM? Mine does it, and I am considering removing the fuse so the solenoid is open all the time to increase the overall rumble from the car. It just sounds too tame
  23. @Mike - that's a sick Z06 man! Well done!!!
