Ok TT, that's just cruel! I can't believe you just did that!!!
Oh well, I guess i'll have to live with "Wanna be PowerMax" for a few more postings huh? How many do I have to reach to move up the ladder now?
Nice pickup OS!!! Congrats and great choice! Keep on practicing but the improvements are already evident in the few pics you have posted!! Next challenge - a good wristi
@ Powershot - is that an 80-200 f2/8? ED? Nice lens collection you have there!! Also, is that Tamron the 17-50 2.8?
@ Philosopher - I got a chance to play with all the super Nikon zooms at a photo show in Toronto and I have to admit I was really disappointed with the 200-400 on the D3s. It kept losing focus as I changed subjects and kept hunting around. Now the 400 2.8 was amazing!!!!
Wow joey! You are blowing me away with this custom work! How long did it take you to create the DW, and more importantly, how difficult was it to install and center?
Finally.....that "Just a little more........." was driving me crazy!
Thanks for the great year guys!!!
Oops - mods.....could you please move this to the appropriate section?? I got so excited, I put it in the wrong spot.
Did you originally buy this in the hopes of a movement transplant?
That is one beautiful watch!! I've been quite impressed by Goin's re-lume jobs as of late. The Grey themes re-lume he's been doing looks awesome!
Nice find LH! Wear it well!!
Wow Joey! Thanks for the detailed description! I can't believe that is a water slide decal dial. It looks great!
So when do you want to build another one??
Looks really great!
Could you provide more details about the build? It would be a big help to others where you sourced some of the other parts (especially me! )
They look pretty good to me, but I am certainly no expert - noob too when it comes to Rolex parts. I am more interested in the hand gauge! I definitely need to pick one of those up!
If Josh says its a swiss ETA, then genuine swiss parts should fit it. Something is amiss here I'd say.
You might find want to find a gen ETA 2836-2 for this one. Problem is, because it's two years old, Josh has no obligation to guarantee the movement. I think it was two or more years ago when Clone Swiss movements began to emerge, but being sold as gen swiss. I could be wrong though.
That's a great looking TAG. I too prefer it on the bracelet. Your review was excellent to0, BTW
I was checking out the one's offered by King and she's got the GP F1 Limited Edition versions in red & green which are also quite awesome looking! Those look good on the leather with accented stitching
