Thanks everyone. To say I am severely bummed would be a huge understatement. I feel like I lost my dog or something. Very odd to become so excited and attached to a project only to have it slip through your fingers. Of course there are several options at this point, but the bottom line is that it is getting too expensive to justify the build. This is definitely one of those situations where you are better off to buy the gen and call it a day. Thanks all for the support, encouragement and input! It's been a blast! Now what the heck am I going to build now..........

Well after a very valiant effort on the Zigmeisters part, it is with sad news that it looks like I will have to abandon this project. The gen watch/movement has a big offset between the pushers and the crown and the 7750 case sets just aren't deep enough to work with. Ziggy was even going to try milling a shim piece to thicken up the case but it just didn't work out unfortunately.

American cars are for the masses. Cheap, economical and in many cases boring. Yes, the ingenuity of American engineers put man on the moon. However, American engineers also developed the "mass produced" automobile. How to build a car as cheaply as possible. Yes the CTS and CTS-V are nice looking cars but they are so horribly put together. The interior of my co-workers 2012 CTS sedan is horrible. Sure, it looks pretty in the pictures but my god it is poorly made. Same could be said of the 2007 Chevy Corvette that I got rid of last December. A rocket ship, but such a piece of junk inside. It was horrible. And it's still hand made too! What I don't understand is why are the American exports are so much better? The Holden, Vauxhal, and Euro Spec Fords. I know the Munaro is basically a Ford Fusion but it just seems nicer. Same thing with the Holden Commodore or Vauxhaul VXR8 Bathurst. What a beast of a car!!

Could be related to the massive Go Daddy outage. They host A LOT of sites, and their whole entire network went down this morning. Someones definitely having a bad day over there!
