Fakes - yes..... Worthless, not by a long shot!!! They've inspired a huge variety of offspring here at RWG!!! I love seeing those posts stating: Inspired by LHOOQ's Explorer....etc
Wow LHOOQ! I am humbled by your compliment of my new Harbormaster That means a lot coming from such a consummate collector
Let's add a couple more:
Seiko Flight Master
Victorinox Dive Master
Not getting on to well I'm afraid to say. Got a great set of cobalt drill bits and they are cutting thru the case just nicely. Unfortunately, as I am slowly stepping up the size, I noticed the hole center is drifting downward. I haven't enlarged it enough for the new tube yet, but I am not sure how to proceed. I can't just keep on enlarging the hole cause it will mess it up even more. I need to go up
There's a really good reason to wear that Tag all day Mickey!! It's freakin gorgeous!!!! Nice to see you are still enjoying it!!
Still wearing my Stolas on Rubber today
They have BR01 bars with Carbon (DLC) finish screws for $50.00 for the set. I know the BR03's are physically smaller, but I believe the strap size is the same is it not?
Thanks for the tips Pete! Got the bezel off, popped out the crystal and have got the tube out. Now I still need to drill into the case though as the new 'T' tube is considerably larger in diameter than the crappy rep tube I just removed. So I guess I still need to pick up some decent drill bits (my current ones won't drill through butter )
Well I have a crystal press, but I wasn't sure if I needed to remove the bezel or not?
As for the tube, I haven't had much luck at all pushing the tube out. If I can get the crystal out then I might try with a little more effort since I can get to the tube from both sides.
Pete how many times have I told you to stop stalking my mum. If you want her to knit you a sweater, you can just ask already
@Jkay - I have seen some insanely large watches on some women lately. I guess it just depends on how comfortable your sister would be wearing one. She just needs to try one on first to test drive it
Anyone have any suggestions on how I remove the crystal from the case before I start doing any extensive work to it?
Marty....do you have any suggestions on a good drill bit to get this thing out? I need to pick up some bits anyways so I might as well get some good ones.
This may be obvious, but I was exploring their website the other day and you can order ANY strap direct from the website. They also sell buckles & the watch strap tools. Additionally, they sell the strap bars, but so far I have only found them for the BR01. I just ordered a gen nylon strap with black buckle on it and I am very excited!!
Bell & Ross
EDIT: I just realized.... Isn't the BR01 and BR03 strap size the same? So the BR01 strap bars would work in a BR03 wouldn't they?
Just wondering if it is possible to combine parts to make a quick date set 7734 out of a 7733? I have most of the parts from a 7734 and I just acquired a 7733 for cheap. Will I be able to merge the two of them? I am pretty sure the 7733 has a 45 min counter gear as well. (Comes from an old Zodiac Chrono)
