  7. Looks amazing!! I also fixed up a watch that belonged to my grandfather. It's amazing how you can completely transform something with a little work and effort! Kudos to Domi for such a superb job and congrats. It's a very nice looking watch
  8. Great info here. Is there a tutorial on this somewhere?

  12. In this case, there is nothing like the gen!! Looking good N!!! A nice little collection of cases and movements you've got there!!
  13. I used to own a 2007 S60 R AWD and it was a beast. It handled perfectly and was a dream to own. Very little cost on maintenance (other than the Brembo brake maintenance). I have always liked the Volvo's. The only complaint that I had about it was the absolute crap turning radius (which apparently was only a problem on that particular model)
  14. I've always wondered about those. Why is it that the big manufacturers of HRM watches don't do this more often? I have read that they are not nearly as reliable as the HRM's with the chest strap. That Polar is quite pricey. Almost $300
  15. Great Vid!! I like it when they zap the watch @maxman - those Diamond encrusted G-Shocks are just silly
  16. Welcome to RWG Chris. I think you will find there is quite a wealth of knowledge here just waiting to be tapped into! Enjoy your stay here
  17. That is a great looking watch!! Very simple yet very classy as well
  18. Hey KB, What do you think of this one? This is the FT80:
  19. Looking to get a decent Heart Rate Monitor Watch. Any suggestions? I would like one with a comfortable chest strap (or none at all). I was checking out the Polar FT80 (just because it also looks really cool!)
  20. Looking good R! Also really like that Suunto!
  21. The devastation is horrible. My parents live 5 hours away in Alexandra, and they fortunately did not feel any affects of the quake. My niece lives in Christchurch, but luckily she was on her honeymoon in Australia. The bad part is that she was due back today but the airport is closed so she is stuck in Auz for now. My thoughts and prayers are going out to many family and friends. They have been through a lot of terrible times there. With the last earthquake happening in September, they were only just beginning to get over it. According to my niece they have had over 2000 aftershocks since september and that's what made this one even worse. No one thought it was going to "ramp up" to the level that it did.
  22. Nicely done Andy! Looking good! I love my desktop bench, but I really like the dual drawer design on yours Pete's got some good suggestions too! Keep up the good work!!
