  1. Your best bet is to shoot emails to the TDs and ask who has stock. No one here can predict that info. Good luck.
  2. User Vaccum runs Vac's Mod Shop on this forum. He's the best in the CONUS right now for replica 775x movement servicing and perfect lume. He is BACKED UP on work, and turn around is slow. Dont bombard him with emails. The wait could be 2 months.
  3. It's just a more expensive rep http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/tc-yacht-master-107628.html
  4. Vaccum does stellar-grade work and lume, but is also insanely booked so expect 2 or 3 months but really quite perfect work. If you want quality work and very simple lume jobs (sandwich dials) with a week turn-around then The Katt is your man.
  5. Some modders take a $50 fee for opening a repair ticket and then tell you to hold the watch until they signal you to send it. This prevents inventory pile-up and institutes a just-in-time work schedule where the watches arrive as you are ready to work on it. The fee is applied to your bill or forfeited if you fail to ship.
  6. YOU ARE ACCIDENTALLY BUYING FROM A SCAM SITE --- that is not the proper P-Clones web address.
  7. I hope everyone remembers this when the next willing watch technician comes along. It is so easy to take on too much work, get caught up in a storm of angry emails and then burn out. This is not the first time. This is not the last time. It happens to Dealers too.
  8. Hi - just so you are aware, they are joking about motor oil. Go to the sporting goods store and buy a bottle of dry-style bike chain lubricant. This will go on wet and penetrate into every mm of the bracelet, then the liquid carrier will evaporate away and leave a coating of teflon over the entire bracelet. Buff it with a soft cloth and you are all done!! You will be shocked at how much black greasy filth (machine shop dirt) washes out from the interior.
  9. Today was a big Panerai day for me ..
  10. It's time to step up to a TC Yacht Master!
  11. Times Shop (timeshops) is a trusted dealer on other replica forums. They are good people. Just be certain you have their proper web site, and not an imitator.
  12. It always takes a little while. He does excellent work .. the very best now that Zig is retired. Just don't expect a 2 or 3 week turnaround.
  13. I have never heard of a mainland China dealer giving anything away for free (unless it is to replace broken parts of a watch purchase). I dont know why you would even wonder if it's possible.
  14. Where are you in the World? You do not have to send it back to China. You may send it to the closest trusted repair person on the forums.
  15. Sorry; I can't be certain. Angle is everything. I do know that some repair folks have a more exacting eye for detail than others, tho.
  16. You don't have to source Rolex inserts before the holes are drilled. Fill the hole with epoxy and then sand it smooth and apply the paint layer. A competent modder could do all of this with the currently available replicas. Altho I do not care for PBDad's work, he has been doing this retro-modern modding for years with replica cases. Here is his "retro vintage DSSD" from 3 years ago ------ http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/116446-the-abyss/
  17. The only logical follow-on question is how much are you willing to spend?
  18. So that unscrupulous dealers can sell the clones as genuine ETA. SeaGull does sell 28xx clones without stamps. If you have a nickel plated clone with pearlage, it's a SeaGull.
  19. I suppose I have not been following the development of this piece closely enough: why is it obviously not waterproof?
  20. I'm glad. Maybe he prioritizes returning customers. As soon as my piece was complete, he did ask me for a follow-on project.
  21. My wonderful Fiddy on custom limited edition Gunny leather ...
