  1. Perfect! I wouldn't want you to accidentally get water in there, so I pointed it out.
  2. Congrats but check that crown. It's nowhere near seated. If it's cross-threaded, gently try and seat it properly. It's a stiff crown in the first place.

    The Abyss

Your PM box is stuffed full That's good news for you! Bad news for me
  4. Asia 21j come in a couple different styles. There's a 21k beats/hr model and a 28k beats/hr model .. just to keep things clear, for a newcomers. The more beats, the more smooth the Second Hand will sweep. (in theory ) Asia 21j is a solid workhorse, but it is immediately obvious to anyone who winds the watch that it really is. An ETA or an Asian ETA clone winds smoother than a peeled onion. Asia 21j winds as rough as a tin toy. If you get a SuperOcean Steel Fish, then go for the Asian ETA Clone mvnt .. you won't regret it. it's a beautiful watch and very well made.

Dare I even ask how much? It's so beautiful.
  6. The case and bracelet really look the part, now!
  7. Same ... very close. Rub it up with Cape Cod to get the surface gunk off and look again.
  8. KB, when this is old enough you can move it there but I feel that your section is in a very obscure area of the board. How many people a week talk about soft goods here and don't even know your shop exists. That's why I posted to the General forum.
  9. Yay! Congrats on putting this rare "I have a box of unusual movements" opportunity to work for you and coming out on top.
  10. I have not personally handled a "v6" (heheh) so I can't comment.
  11. Bad link, bub. Try again? WHOA .. I refreshed and it loaded? Ok Looking .... edit: OK that looks like an original v5, not a new 2010 model. The pearl has no dome. As someone else described it, it's "a full glass of milk" and that's the hallmark of a mid-2009 v5. Maybe ETZ's original factory sells to this dealer now. It's the same watch I own, and gioarmani famously reviewed. There's nothing wrong with the original V5 .. just a bad batch of dials got a lot of people angry.
  12. Yesterday I had this problem, but not before or since.
  13. Agreed. I always freeze-frame his wristies to identify his watch.
  14. I should have posted these a LOT sooner, and someone else on the forum selling their rep LV wallet reminded me to do so. It's been 8 months since I picked up this "Utah Leather" LV rep from soft goods Collector Bergie here on RWG, and it's held up like iron .. not one popped stitch. Not bad for a $65 usd rep of a $600 wallet. I see so many people here asking where to get soft goods, or recommending non-forum soft goods merchants, not realizing we have an excellent one right here. The box, dust cover, gift card, and hang tags were all included with my wallet. Note: A new wallet will have a better shape; remember, I've used this for 8 months and it's stretched to fit all my stuff.
  15. It's the photo. He says this in his mini-review. As for the steel brightness, I used a Cape Cod cloth on my mid-2009 v5 and it shines like silver ... you would really be surprised how dirty your SS watch is, and you don't even realize. I can tell just by looking at these pic that the watch needs to be cleaned.
  16. Joel from "The Soup" on E! network wears a Fiddy. The main character in "The Transporter" movie series is always wearing Panerai.
  17. Yes, I know .. the exclamation point thing ..
  18. The Cartier Pasha Seatimer in it's most recent 40mm replication is very good indeed. Gen Rep Rep Back
  19. Members of my family who don't know about rep community sites think that a "good sub replica" is $1000usd ..
