  1. This is a handsome watch .. and I repeat someone else's question .. how did you reliably drill new lug holes in that tight area? It's beautifully refinished as well.
  2. It's important to remember that many forum members both here and across the Internet are not native English speakers. Keep your thoughts clear for them as you reply, since they are working harder then you native English speakers to be here and understand everything clearly. Look at examples where two non-native speakers are attempting to converse in English. Lots of misunderstandings and flaring tempers.
  3. is that dial aged tritium-colored luminova? it really is lovely, basic, and classic. if it was offered as a product by a Collector, I'd certainly buy one.
  4. Thanks for playing along, KB. Have a great day; I'm off to bed.
  5. Here's another RWG classic review of a beautiful Ladies watch, this time from Gioarmani click this
  6. So with my 1 year anniversary looming, co-incidentally so is my 1k post. I've bought a few pieces from you nice folks; I've bought a few pieces from the nice and not so nice Collectors. I've learned a TON from everyone .. jumping from rank newb to "dangerous with a toolkit and loupe" in just 11 short months. I've been wildly impressed by TheZigmeister's work on my things, and puzzled by other .. more enigmatic modders. I've tossed the dice on a few raffles and shown my support for the Forum by becoming a member. Overall, I feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful Community, and I wish RWG a long, profitable (for all involved), and happy life. onward and upward.
  7. Dunno. As someone who's been around a longass time, hosted message boards, BBSs, irc networks and channels .. it's all about envy and doubt. It's all inside that Admin's head over at RG. A personal failing. not too hard to understand.
  8. Mm yes this is definitely my next rep. It's just too nice to not have.
  9. Perhaps someone sealed it with epoxy for waterproofing. It should open. I would not force it, if it's not opening. It's just for decoration anyway ..
  10. Replica watch factories don't service any movements. You get what you get ... some dirty and some clean.
  11. Yes, I also recently picked up a FM Crazy Hours Color Dreams in pink, with pink strap, for my little daughter. It's a good choice for a teen, and more conventional colors for a Woman.
  12. Rolex Day/date in Glacier Blue dial with roman numerals and either smooth or crenelated bezel. By-tor's famous Review
  13. With the bezel change, the watch went from a bastard to a beauty! Very good call.
  14. Cartier Ballon Bleu comes in 3 sizes.
  15. A skater? No way a Japanese watch has ANY street cred with teenagers. Try this Full props to whomever posted this image originally. It's not my watch.
  16. Grats, Admins .. nice job.
  17. The watch in your pics is absolutely not the Cartel "ultimate" or "V3" ... the dial is all wrong. Cartel DSSDs have too-fat hour markers. It's really obvious. Lani: Someone posted a photo of the new ETz DSSD (approval pics) last week and I think the OGEV engraving was identical to this ... The O is good but the E in Valve is short of the mark. I think this is the "2010 etz" watch.
  18. Due to the fuzzy pics, I can't tell if it's a 2009 ETz v5 or a 2010 version. The pearl is the key to that decision. 2009 v5 pearls are flat. 2010 have a nice little dome, as per the Gen. Another thing you aren't showing us is if the "titanium" caseback is a true cone or a stepped pyramid shape. Cone = Gen = ETZ and stepped pyramid = V3 EDIT: Ahhh I see in the final pic that the pearl is shown nicely! It's a later V5 .. good pearl!
  19. e-file with someone like TurboTax, and you'll have until 3am EST (midnight Pacific Coast time)
  20. No not at all. The v3 has a huge bug eyed pearl and ultra-fat hour markers AND no beveled date window. This DSSD has a correct date window, a reasonable pearl from what I can see in the blurred pics and slim, sweet hour markers. I'd say this watch is the Eurotimez v5.
