I don't know about the Chrono but a new non-chrono 42mm Planet Ocean has been announced, supposedly 1:1 replication accepting genuine parts like the current 45mm Planet Ocean rep.

Rolex has produced watches with varying amounts of "smoothness" to their sweep. To say that all replicas "tick" only shows that your friend has only seen "Canal Street" quality replicas. That's not a shot against your friend .. most people are unaware of high quality replicas. To get back to my point, a vintage Rolex will have a certain about of jerk in the seconds hand and a more modern one will be more smooth. So point dis-proven there. Lastly, if the movement you install in your replica is a quality, serviced 28.8k bph unit from Switzerland or China .. then it's going to be as smooth as any Rolex when it sweeps. The things the general public think about reps are all due to someone they know purchasing a $20 Rolex from a street vendor while visiting a major city. It's going to be "too light", "ticking seconds hand" and "die in 2 weeks or less"

KBH- unfortunately the differences between a 2813 and a 4813 are not readily visible. Only a few small interior parts differ. At least that's what I learned on RWG LOL I was confused about Asia 21j .. now I know there are 2 kinds, the 2813 and the 4813 .. one's 21k and one's 28k .. and they are externally identical to the naked eye.

MAME and other programs like it use the actual software from arcade machines to replicate 1970's, 80s, 90s etc arcade classic games on your modern computer. ROM collections are packages of real Arcade software, rescued by game lovers the world over, before machines were destroyed etc ... The emulation programs load up the ROM files and viola .. you have an actual Arcade game running on your PC.

ETA is the largest movement maker. Some high-end watch makers take ETA movements and make them more pretty and then use them in their watch. The difference between a BK watch and a Precious Time watch ... A normal dealer sells you factory-made watches. BK hand-finishes and inspects every piece.
